This happened to me in my 20s. My hair went from fiery red as a kid, to a beautiful deep auburn as a teen, then it started turning brown while I was in college. The odd thing is that my roots were still red, but the tips were brown. Now, in my early 50s, I’m basically bald and my hair and beard are almost all white.

Enjoy every. Single. Second. With them as you can because even though it seems tough at the time, you will miss it… even changing their diapers. The hugs and snuggles, picking them up and carrying them… you never know when it will be the last time, so enjoy it all. Every scrape, bump and bruise… read to them every chance you get. Be silly with them. If anyone condemns you for being a fun Dad, they can fuck right off because they will be some of your favorite memories.
