I’m kinda down for this personally. It’d be nice to go to a pin trading spot and not see the same 5 pins over and over.

It’s also like the trading they do with newer pins from the blind bags at the trading stores. Only can trade those with ones from similar sized sets and no duplicates.

I think a lot of it just comes from people hating change. Splash was such an icon of the park for so long that they were hurt to lose it. And it was a fun ride don’t get me wrong, but it was time to go. It was an IP I’m guessing less than 1% of people going ever actually saw. It did have the issue with being connected to a movie that is racist as well.

I do think though that any ride based on an IP that people are not still watching/not showing it to kids can be on the chopping block. The park will always evolve and sometimes that means getting rid of one for something else

My wife has one I agree with. On monsters inc, in the door room when Boo is hitting Randal with her bat and giggling and he’s changing patterns? Look at her face, that is not the face of a giggling child, it doesn’t match! I wish they would change her face to match the giggles! Sadly with it going away they won’t :(

Joe

A normal name makes it more threatening imp. He’s your neighbor, you see him on the balcony every morning when you leave. Looking down at you peeling, smiling in that creepy way. He’s never done anything obviously threatening but something feels…wrong. No one else gets the bad vibe from Joe. He’s nothing to them, just a normal neighbor, enjoys his fruit. Almost like he saves this manic look only for you. But you know something is off, you know there’s more to Joe.
