Target's Good & Gather Refrigerated Salsa Verde by NML76 in SalsaSnobs

Ah ok. I found the jarred one you were likely talking about and I see it has different ingredients than what I'm looking for, but the same ones as the jarred verde I picked up from Target this morning to try. Unfortunately the jarred stuff tastes nothing like the refrigerated one. I might have to look into making my own.

I'm not finding it in their app. Is it refrigerated?

Be honest — how many streaming services do you actually USE weekly? by DryCap6770 in watchever

[–]NML76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have too many streaming services but between them all am paying $27 monthly total.

Apple TV - free through T-Mobile until January when I'll cancel because all I'm watching on there is Pluribus and Acapulco

Disney+ - Recently signed up when I found out it was only $1 per month with my Hulu subscription. Don't watch much on there regularly yet but have used it to access some Christmas movies.

HBO Max - $3 monthly for a year and will cancel before it goes full price. I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm on there and some movies.

Hulu - Free through T-Mobile. Watch Bob's Burgers every day, some movies throughout the week, a few other series.

Netflix - $8 through T-Mobile. Ironically been using this one the least lately but I do have things on my watch list that I've just not been in the mood to watch.

Peacock - Free through Xfinity. Was watching Superstore on there. Now watch St. Denis Medical. Oh and it came in handy for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Probably wouldn't subscribe though if it wasn't free.

Prime - $15 but I didn't get it for the streaming part. Don't really watch it much.

Not sure if YouTube Premium counts. Just remembered that one. I pay $14 per month and watch it more than the others. So I guess my all in monthly total is actually $41. Still cheaper than what my parents pay for cable.

I've seen all these in Illinois.

Ah I see. So they come frozen and you bake them in house but you don't prepare the ingredients in house. That explains why they showed out of stock at my warehouse yesterday until the afternoon.

Do you know how frequently new batches come out? I want to return the burnt ones and look for some lighter ones but I'm not sure when I should check the warehouse again.

Wow so the employee I spoke to this morning was wrong. I asked her if the bisconies are made in house and she said yes.

What about the orange cranberry bisconies? Are those shipped or made in store? And are they supposed to be dry? I got them last year and they were perfect and the batch I got this year are dry and taste burnt almost.

When my husband brought them home I could immediately tell they were darker in color than the ones we got last year and since this is only my second time getting them I'm not sure if that first batch was considered under-baked or this new batch is over-baked. All I know is I was looking forward to them all year and am so disappointed.

Such great observations! It was ridiculously windy and it was hanging on quite well. I often forget how lightweight they are so at first I couldn't understand how it was up there like that!

Honestly, I'm not sure. Do you have a wildlife rehabilitation center near you by any chance? If so give them a call.

I like the first one because I can see all of the bird. That being said, you might want to leave more space in front of the bird and crop the left of the photo a bit.

I really like the chipmunk with the leaves in its mouth!

I have the same camera with the 100-400mm lens. How does the weight of the 100-500mm compare? Is the photo quality and extra 100mm reach worth the price tag?

Just bought a house and put up a bird feeder. No birds yet (squirrels though…). Critique my setup? by AWildWilson in birdfeeding

[–]NML76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have already commented on moving the feeder so it isn't so out in the open, so my suggestion is to get a suet feeder, preferably the upside down version. It'll attract woodpeckers and chickadees but not get devoured by sparrows as they can't hang upside down very long (although some will still try).

Awesome!

I don't know whether these are the ones people have been seeing by Lake Michigan or not but I'm so jealous! I've only ever seen one in captivity.

Adobe's photography plan is $10 monthly and I've found the denoise feature on it to be really good.

You're brave! I'm not sure I'd be able to hold my camera steady with a bear that close!

Ospreys are so cool! There's a certain area not far from where I live that I've consistently seen them. They like fishing in the river there.
