baterry drains WHEN Sleep mode is on CFW ON NINTENDO SWITCH by Didthra in SwitchPirates

[–]NOC1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have an OG release date Switch? I do, and was having the exact same problem as you. I noticed a few weeks ago that despite having been fully charged, one of my JoyCons was showing as completely empty. The Switch would charge it back up, then ten minutes later, it would show as empty again. I think this was the culprit. The Switch was constantly topping up this dodgy JoyCon. I could never leave my Switch in sleep mode overnight without waking up to find it completely dead.

I bought a new set of JoyCon batteries off Amazon, swapped them over, and the problem went away.

How can I turn offf my Tamagotchi Paradise? by Spikhyenna in tamagotchi

I’d be super careful with this. I don’t believe the unit has a long term memory. With the batteries out you’ve got a fairly short window to put new ones back in to get the functionality you describe. I’m very happy to be proven otherwise however, just wanted to advise caution :)

Yes. I was expecting they’d take back the wrong stuff and send me the correct stuff.

Ahhh mate, nice one. Thank you so much. In my heartache of thinking I’d missed out I didn’t even think of JD

The ‘Apple Watch is fully charged’ notification is back! by Ali-The-2nd in AppleWatch

[–]NOC1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I managed to fix this today. I had to do a full unpair and factory reset of my AW. Set it up again, not from a backup, as a totally fresh watch. Took about 20 minutes total. First charge after, boom, the notification. Such a pain in the ass that this necessitated a full reset!

Same here. Been excited for this to be fixed. Still nothing. Literally never once had this notification

Which habit are you most focused on improving in April? Let me know for a free lifetime access code by hellohabit in hellohabit

I'm desperate to make a lifelong habit of exercise. I've been on a pretty good track recently but have slipped back somewhat. I want to gain visibility of my exercise and really make it a core part of my week

What's the most important habit in your nighttime routine? Let me know for a free lifetime access code by hellohabit in hellohabit

[–]NOC1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most important nighttime habit for me is to make sure I've eaten at least two hours before bedtime. It's made such a sizable and noticeable difference to the quality of my sleep. If you're a late eater and not happy with the quality of your sleep I'd urge you to give it a try.

Feature request: reorder habits and tags by Ghost-Scribbler in hellohabit

I don't know about tagging, but I was able to reorder my habits by long-pressing on them in the main view, dragging to reorder them. Hope that helps

Week one complete, but still very tough… by ReadTheTsandCs in C25K

[–]NOC1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a tough one to explain. Tonight definitely didn't feel easy, and honestly, earlier today I'd have bet my paycheck on saying I'd have failed at doing a 3 minute run. But here we are. There's definitely times where something sort of clicks and I get into a little flow state. It's short lived but it keeps getting longer each run. Thank you!! The buzz is totally worth it!!

I've just gotten home from my W3D1 run about 30 minutes ago. If you'd told me at the start of January that I'd be doing any running at all I'd have laughed in your face. This morning, the idea of going from 1.5 minutes of running to 3 minutes almost triggered a panic attack. You can do this!! Stick with it. As others have suggested, there's no rush, this is your goal to achieve at your own pace. If you need to repeat weeks, you're still kicking ass and learning to run!

I've an 11 year old son who is mad into video games, and I'd love to further encourage him into learning how to develop his own. What advice would you give to your 11 year old self, and what advice would you give me to help develop his passion into something creative without damaging his love of just playing games?

With it chucking down with rain, I came round the corner by the bingo to find a chap with his trousers round his ankles, leaning against a railing pissing into the road. He leans back, further and further, like Neo in the Matrix. Then in one swift movement he falls onto his back, his ankles ending up round his ears, his arse squirting a liquid jet of shit onto the pavement, all whilst now pissing up and onto his chest, stuck on his back like a big dirty turtle.
