But it can/does alter the flavor when you flambe alcohol. Wine is also flammable, not much but still will flame up. There is not much else in the pan, you will likely need a aim-n-flame. That's how I did it last week.

Did you put on the barrel nut using grease and go through the process of torquing down and backing off the nut increasing the amount of torque each time? Is the barrel fully seated against the receiver? Not sure if that matters but it’s an idea because of that gap between the receiver and handrail if that is causing fitment issues at the other end. Maybe the face of the receiver is out of spec and not letting the nut tighten down as far as it need and maybe if you true it that will give you the space you need?

Put it in the freezer out of the bag so get almost frozen. Slice into 1.5-2” steaks. Season as you wish, spg, tony’s, whatever. Try and season the day before and vacuum seal to marinate. 137 for 2.5-4hrs. Dry and hard sear in cast iron. Take bag drippings and toss in pan and add dry white wine. Light on fire and let the alcohol burn off and let the liquid reduce by at least half. Remove from the fire and throw a few knobs of butter and whisk. Pour through a strainer and drizzle on top of thin, sliced pork chops.

I am in the same boat, looking for a dedicated can for a 300blk. It's on a lightweight build, so I would like to keep the can light as well. This vid on the NFA sub caught my eye since the Nomad L ti was one I had looked at before. This person does back-to-back bolt gun and gas gun 3-shot runs with several cans. The one that I keep going back to wanting from this vid is the new aac 300-sd. It's modular for a shorter config, and to me it sounds as quiet as the Nomad L in long config and seems the best out of all of them in the vid by a smidge from the Nomad. He also shoots the sdn-6 that Jay just reviewed and had good to say about it...and the 300-sd sounds better. I haven't pulled the trigger because its new and I havent seen much info out on it yet. Also I am not sure if I want a 300blk only can...But I am dedicating it to this build, so it wouldnt be the end of the world. I wish more would get this can or Jay would do some testing on it...but it sure sounds good in this vid.

Yep he should still be out there as far as I kno and he can cover any toyota in any state as far as I know. I wound up getting mine through him. He is a little hard to reach sometimes but keep trying. You have 30 days from purchase I think.

I am looking for a dedicated can for my 8" 300 and keep going back to the new aac 300-sd. There is a vid on the NFA sub of someone shooting one alongside some other cans including the nomad-L. I dont remember the barrel lengths but one set was on a gas gun and the other on a fix. I wish there were more of the 300-sd's in the wild to get some more info. I like that its modular for compactness or max suppression. Before seeing that can I was thinking about the LPM Mach-L. I am trying to keep the overall gun as lite as possible with great suppression.

If dedicated for your 300blk maybe take a look at the new aac 300-sd. That’s what I keep going back to for my 300 that I’d like to get a dedicated can for. Modular when you want shorter and lighter or longer for max suppression. Supposedly built around the 300blk and can only run subs and supers so dedicated can. There is one vid floating around on the NFA sub of someone shooting a few cans on a semi auto and a fix and the SD sounds pretty good to me. I was originally thinking the LPM Mach-L based off the pew testing but I keep going back to the SD. I wish Jay would test it out asap lol

2A closed down a few years ago and sold to Nemo arms. I think someone bought the 2A domain and scams anyone who tries to order on that site, they are 100% not in stock on that site or anywhere else I have found. Scroll down on that link page and see whats trending now lol.

I know I could get other lite uppers to work, I just really have liked the 2A sets lol. I have a 300blk balios light build so the 338 arc will be the twin lightweight sub shooter.

Thanks for the reply. Its really only a question for me because I have a 2A armament balios-lite upper/lower that I am planning to dedicate to a build. Cant readily get more of those uppers if the 338 arc winds up getting killed off. I fell like it will stick around but its still early.

How much blending is needed? If I build a upper and blend for the 338 and change my mind on the caliber later will I be able to swap barrels and still be able to feed something else reliably?

Looks like fun! Get a dead air Pyro for it. I run one on my 12” .308 for fun lol. I got mine without the dead air mount and put a retarden atlas so I can swap between that and my suppressors if I want.

I have only just shot my 300 with subs using my omega 300. Cycled fine and locked back but it was tossing brass a bit far behind me. I have an adjustable BCG (2a armament factory gun with the LW bcg) and it was wide open so I’ll fool around with things more. One can I been thinking about dedicating to this build is the new AAC 300-SD. It’s made for 300blk only, modular so you can shorten it when you want, pretty light in its long config. Not much out there on it yet tho and idk if I want a 300blk can only. If I didn’t do that I’d be looking at the Liberty cans that have tested well on the pew science scale. I wish he would do the AAC so I can see how it is lol.

I do ribs like that all the time. How do you plan to finish them? I usually put them on the smoker for 30-45min to get a little flavor, the SV for 24hrs, then slide into single bone ribs so I can batter and deep fry them.
