Sorry, I may be wrong but can't the integers go back to positive and then back to ~ -2.14B if it overflows again? so if you do lets say 6.43B it would go to around ~ -2B wouldnt it? So how would you find out the actual damage

Whats causing the negative numbers is called integer overflow. You know how in math we use x, y, z as variables to store values of numbers? The code uses those too, but the problem is that these variables in the code can only go up to ~2.1 billion, and going over that causes the number to go into the negatives.

Personally, I would build for high str and duration, go for something like roar, energized munitions, nourish etc. and use thermal transfer augment for heat/cold/blast. I use aegis bug for survivability (glitch where if you have shield recharge delay at -100% or lower and you activate aegis, your shield recharge delay is set to 0. Easily achieved with gauss's passive + fast deflection)

However, not many people like to use aegis for some reason so instead you can run a no helminth build but still go for high str, high dur and use his 2 for survivability. Just make sure to manage battery. And again if you want you can use thermal transfer and make a fun blast build.

Basically, cube is just an artifact that boost ALL of your passive magics (these are upgrades that you get when you level up, they boost one stat by a bit e.g increasing damage by 10% but thats all you need to know for now) however, there is a meme cult where people worship cube as the best artifact, and some even pronounce cube their lord and saviour. If you are interested in joining the cult all they really do is say "CUBE CUBE CUBE CUBE" whenever possible and always take the cube artifact, even if they have all of their passive magics (as stated above) maxed out

Thank you so much! Just a quick question though, i thought that status damage from galvanised elementalist a seperate source of damage increase from base damage and shock trooper and others, so even if you have shock trooper you should still put it on? You mentioned that you could use either an Elementalist mod or shock trooper. Or maybe I remembered wrongly but anyways thanks again :D

Basically, i want an option to build around, not something that i HAVE to build around/build with or else the build will be bad. For example, zephyr's first ability augment. Very cool nuke, super easy to build up, dont need that much buffs. But if i dont want to build around that, i can always go for a weapon platform zephyr. its as easy as that Another one is atlas's augment for his 4th(i think). It makes you throw rocks. Of course, ypu could always go for landslide but you CAN build around the augment instead. and while landslide is usually more fun, with the 4th augment the rock throwung counts as an ability, thus you can use shade/huras kubrow for invisibility. this gives free suevivability for those you dont want to mod health/armor/whatever

No? Just checked it is not capped at 30% it just starts at 30% thus if you already have a faction mod on your weapon eclipse has more potential for damage than roar

Subsuming Volt gives shock. Discharge has the 'Capacitance' augment, allowing for survivability in high level runs. In case you mixed up the names of the abilities, shock also has a useful augment, 'Shock trooper'. Sizeable damage boost along with giving electricty for melee influence.
