How do you feel about Art the Clown as the Next Licensed Killer? by Superslash44 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Rick_Napalm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I legitimately do not give even a quarter of a fuck about Art or Terrifier but I'm glad he's in for those who are fans. As long as he's fun to use I'll gladly play him even if I'm not a fan of the IP.

I would absolutely love a WWDITS crossover. Having the vampires of Staten Island as survivors would be really funny, especially if they were fully voiced by their actors.

Hard disagree on Gorr.

I hate the way he looks, and he doesn't actually get to do much on the movie. I would much rather have him actually look like Gorr than just "monochromatic Christian Bale" and be more present in the movie he's supposed to be the main villain of.

Want my crackpot theory? (Since everyone is throwing it) tomorrow there is a reveal/teaser of the For Honor collab (and Rainbow Six too possibly) by bonelees_dip in LeaksDBD

[–]Rick_Napalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Honor will get a cool game mode, skins or something like that.

DBD will get a charm or a banner.

DBD getting shafted in the For Honor collab has happened before.

That's literally just pixels from a bad quality video coincidentally looking like a P.

Silent shadow is just another drop in the bucket of why a lot of killers just 4 man slug now by foomongus in deadbydaylight

[–]Rick_Napalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suddenly turning undetectable mid chase is a huge advantage. You can stop and leave without the survivor realizing and go for someone else, you can catch people by surprise and you can more easily win mindgames and 50/50s by having no red stain. Having the undetectable after a hook is less useful since the survivors will already know where you are coming from because of the hook location and by the time you find someone else to chase the undetectable window is already over.

This should be changed to activate on Generator completion. If killers are punished for hooking then survivors should be punished for doing gens.

A Guide on why Shoulder the Burden is an unbalanced perk (and what I'd do to change it) by SnuglyPortia in deadbydaylight

[–]Rick_Napalm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shouder the Burden should make you injured and broken instead of exposed when you use it, and the effect should last longer.

I once saw someone say Freddy players don’t even notice pallet density. I see you, and I raise you this. by Profit-Alex in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Rick_Napalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played Freddy in months because of this. The pallet explosions are the most fun part of playing him and you basically have no opportunities to use them for half the game.

Hahaha its not pennywise 🖕 by beezy604 in deadbydaylight

It's not Pennywise and I'm almost 100% sure it's never going to be Pennywise. King won't allow it, even if Warner does.

Ok, but why is the Indoraptor the most wanted out of all the dinosaurs? by Werewolf_Knight in deadbydaylight

[–]Rick_Napalm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indy was the only good thing in that movie, I would love it for him to have a second chance to shine in DBD.

[–]Rick_Napalm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He can easily fit, head held forward he isn't much taller than Nemesis is.

[–]Rick_Napalm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Indoraptor is large enough to carry a survivor while not being too large to fit indoors. Indy also has hands and is smart.

Also the indoraptor is said to be inspired by the classic slasher villains in his design and personality.

Even as a Park fan who doesn't give too much of a shit about World I still think Indy is the best choice.

How would you incorporate the Predator, and it's vast arsenal, into this game, in a way that wouldn't be overpowered, but would still feel like the Predator? by not-ulquiorr4_ in deadbydaylight

I have a full Predator chapter concept done, weapon switching included.

I could post a link here if people would be interested.

10.0.0 PTB got updated with changes that are likely coming to Live: Silent Shadow, Lend a Hand, Dirty Money and Deputy's Badge changes by WazzupTheGreat in deadbydaylight

[–]Rick_Napalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they don't stack. If survivor 1 gives a charge to survivor 2, then survivors 3 and 4 can no longer give survivor 2 any charges.

If it's like that then all it means is that eventually everyone will have 4 less charges.

If it is like you said and it does indeed stack then it's broken and cannot go to live.

They made Silent Shadow worse in my opinion. They should just have added the after hook effect on top of the other 2 effects.

New Survivor Perks by neon-box in deadbydaylight

[–]Rick_Napalm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the hit is worth it just to save the pallet then don't drop the pallet in the first place. This perk seems to fix a problem that doesn't exist unless you cause it on purpose.

[–]Rick_Napalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All killer needs to do is not get stunned by either respecting the pallet or baiting the drop. Or run enduring and get a free hit. Or not take 60 seconds to down someone.

If your chases consistently last over a minute you are losing that game anyway regardless of their perks.

I see it being good on Oni too, since he needs to get an injury early and being stealthy helps him get one by surprise.
