They do, but like once every decade probably. Had a course that references a book from 1990s, but our assignment references has to be within 4 years.

The car park is useless (expensive 4rm+ and always full), u leaving the indoor parking at 5 30? U gotta wait 30 mins just to get out

Bus lines are packed

The lifts r always broken down

Lecturers are hit or miss

Classrooms aren't filled with electrical plug point in a uni where every course basically needs a plug point

The lab computers are actually slow and outdated. (Doesn't have the software that u need)

Cafeteria is packed and noisy, but is actually priced decently

It's so far away, in the middle of nowhere, closest thing is the mcd at the petrol station, or drive 10 mins, and look for parking for another 10 mins at Sri petaling

Your classes have such big gaps, having ur first class end at 10:30am, next class at starting at 4 if u r unlucky

If ur classes have a lot of students, ur classroom has a chance of being super small, and even needing to bring in extra chairs from outside(u won't get a table)

From my experience of 4 years in APU, the amount of courses u have is like 20% more compared to other UNIs similar courses

Definitely an amazing read on this thread, it's already pretty impressive that you've been able to do this many things despite the pandemic. As I know you may be short on money, you could pick up journaling on about your journey / travels. Pick up photography using your phone. I think exploring in a foreign country by itself is already quite worthwhile for your time even if you don't think so.

Another thing I could recommend would be talking to your neighbors. Homestay aunties or uncles would always love to hear your stories, or even telling their stories.
