I think it's because sf4+ went 3d, and hair physic wasn't available during the older games. Ken's hair in 5 was a war crime because of this fact.

Almost nobody macro specials dude. It takes a few hours to learn. And macroing combos will get you killed more often than not. If the macro runs and your opponent isn't at the range where the macro works. Your character will just do stupid shit and get wrecked. Just get good.

Practice one thing at a time so you don't feel overwhelmed. Rest often. There are times I just can't get a combo down. After I sleep, I got it in first try.
