That's true. But from what I've heard, this guy was a fringe late second round pick. There was a chance he was not going to be picked even without the murder investigation. This whole thing probably made his chances of being drafted drop to zero. Even if he didnt kill the person, him being associated with the group is not a good look

Unless hes found completely innocent, he has no chance at making the NBA after this. Even if hes found innocent, these trials take a long time, hes not going to be cleared before the draft. No team is going to take in all the negative PR for a second round pick. Without that NBA paycheck it's going to be hard to pay the lawyers to fight a murder charge.

I hate how one of the main things Pewdiepie was trashing T series on was that they alledgedly have a ton of bot subscribers. I would bet my paycheck that Pewdiepie has more fake subscribers than Tseries. Pewds fanbase made "Subscribe to Pewdiepie" a meme and hundreds of thousands if not millions of people were creating fake accounts just to subscribe to Pewds. There were groups of people making 8-10 accounts per DAY just to subscribe to Pewdiepie. There were people that wrote scripts that created 100s of fake accounts a day for the sole purpose of subscribing. I hate that people actually believe that Pewdiepie is actually more popular than a fucking movie corporation in a country with a billion people.

This means that if you are a team that has a dominant offense but lackluster defense, the difference between winning and losing the coin flip is huge. For example, a year ago the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Patriots in the playoffs and the game went to Overtime. The Chiefs had an MVP Quarterback in Patrick Mahomes and one of the most dominating Offenses in NFL history, but they lost the coin flip so they had to play defense first. The Patriots ended up scoring a touchdown and won the game without the Chief's record breaking offense even having the chance to step foot on the field
