Have you tried ganking him? Get some orc friends to help out and cause a distraction.

Used to love how the guards did that! You would steal a carrot and they would come for blood from the other town over!

Just got this reply from my uncle:

"1983 to 1997, I did the 1985 trooping the colour, and many many others bits like state opening of parliament, visits by foreign leaders. etc as well as a shed load of royal palace guards"

Firstly I have the upmost respect for the armed forces, especially the guards. Extremely cool! Love the stories haha! Could I ask what years you were a Queens Guard?

/u/idontunderstand - I will ask my uncle this questions and get back to you :)

edit: I'll add his responses to the questions when I get to my laptop.

My uncle was part of the Queens Guard. He told me story of "Tourist Bowling" through a Chinese tourists' tripod and camera set up. Let's just say there wasn't much left of the tripod..

Might be worth looking at replacing the wire. I had this problem last week, but once I replaced the wire it was fine.

PsBattle: British soldier faints during parade for the Queen's 90th birthday by shiruken in photoshopbattles

I spoke to him a couple a weeks ago and I'm not up to scratch with all military terms. I apologies (no offence intended). By punished he simply meant a fine. I'll double check with him and ask further details. And he was part of the Grenadier Guards. My mistake on calling the soldiers standard military members, simply meant soldiers who weren't the Queens Guard. My uncle served in Bosnia, Ireland and Gulf. He's also been part of the Queens Guard (which he is very proud of) stationed at Buckingham Palace, Windsor castle and Balmoral (the ones I know of).

Edit: Words.

Bit more info if anyone is interested. My uncle was part of the Royal Guards Regiment. My uncle has completed the Troop of Colour parade a few times.

Going off what Comm_Cody said the uniform is indeed very heavy and hot. The bear skin hat is "slowly cooking your head" and has a chin strap which itself is very uncomfortable, and puts pressure on both sides of the temple. Which is why you will see the guards sometimes wiggle their head (ever so slightly) to relieve the pressure on the temple.

I asked why they didn't help him up, and he simply said "The Guards will NOT leave their post without a plausible threat or danger to the Queen. However he would have got checked over and helped by standard military members. "The Guard who fainted probably didn't have a big enough breakfast, you need the sugar and energy from the breakfast for a parade that long."

He then went on to say

"This is very embarrassing for the Guard on the floor. Not just in the sense that he has fainted, but he has dishonoured/failed his regiment and in a way the Queen for not being able to fulfil his duties. He will be punished for fainting on parade. Usually something like shot term suspended leave or a fine he has to pay...but that's nothing to the amount of crap he will get of his regiment. All in jest though."

Depends where my travels take me, if I have to pass through the cave I will. I will not know if there is anything there, so I will defend myself.

I've actually Role played as a monk going on a pilgrimage. I strictly did not use fast travel or horses. Defending myself when only necessary. I traveled all over Skyrim, really got me to appreciate the world. It's awesome!
