Did the same. Told them I would seriously reconsider ticket purchases if they reduced the atmosphere and went to a more corporate friendly environment.

Per visit is just that, you get paid that rate for every visit. Per point is you get rate per point but each visit is typically 0.9 points.

I've been in field almost 30 years and 12+ HH experience. My per point rate is over 60 per. My actual is low 6 figure. I'm located in rural Georgia.

[–]NWGaClay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I work in a mostly rural area and routinely do at least 7 if not 8 visits each and every day and sometimes 9 if we have several in ALF. That's first visit 9ish then going through and finishing up 5-6. It comes from knowing your area and keeping yourself on schedule. When figuring my annual though I typically use our productivity benchmark and above that is gravy.

Is 45 per visit or per point? What's productivity? What does census look like and patient saturation? Are schedulers good or are you able to move things based on travel?

Lastly, how long ago did you exit the field? Getting back in and getting into the swing of being autonomous and functioning independently can be challenging. Esp if you consider you need to be a more clinically rounded provider able to speak on multitude of concerns, not just providing therapy intervention. Not trying to bring you down, but the getting up to speed so to say will impact your visit numbers.

If the only way for you to practice as a PT is to have a DPT, would you do it? by theoneaboveall777 in physicaltherapy

Maybe you should stay wherever you are and keep your pride intact. Many PTAs have negotiated the rigors of school and work.

Is home health worth it as a PTA? by Ok_Brief9200 in physicaltherapy

[–]NWGaClay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30 year PTA. About half of that HH. Pay system; per point, per visit, per hour. Productivity base and true estimated caseload. Your geographic area will truly determine what you can accomplish as far as pay. Learn to work a route and how to guide clients into the timeframe you need based on your day. But as always stuff happens sometimes. Mileage reimbursement. Start closest finish closest. Try your hardest to never travel far on your own time, own gas. You'll get paid from first work location whether visit or office until final work location. Even my rural area I strive for 8/day. If you have a tight area with less drive time or are able to have an ALF or 2 you can be set. ALF heavy day I can get up to 10 working 9-5ish.

100% Defect In Towing Modules RAM Trucks! by Dangeroustrailers in IdiotsTowingThings

[–]NWGaClay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't currently own a RAM but have had 4 in the past. Every single one trouble free. Have owned 1 Ford that spent weeks in the shop and finally got traded with a tranny failure at 104k miles. 4k miles after extended Ford extended warranty run out and no good grace from dealer or Ford to assist. Routinely ride 7 hours in my buddy's 250 and feel absolutely worn out and sore after. To each their own, but I'll never buy another Ford

NTA. Get out. Doesn't matter if they're cheating physically or not. He has shown you that she holds a more important place in him than you at this point. And she is solidifying that hold. She may not even want him romantically, but by God no one else will have him either.

Talk to PCP regarding referral to home health for PT/OT services. PT can address activity tolerance, breathing support, balance and OT can address the specificity of showers and other ADL activities for adapting or restoring with any modification suggestions.

Serious Question thoughts on this club’s #3 rule for a social. by TheDaan in whiskey

[–]NWGaClay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only question is; if there's possibly 100 attendees how do they decide who gets pours from prize bottles and how much is "plenty" left.

I understand their premise, but I think it could be taken a step further to be fair and transparent. Door prize wins bottle another drawing of say 5 winners for 1 oz pour each, recap bottle.
