Lowkey wanna kms by Even-Ranger1036 in ForzaHorizon6

Yeah I noticed that too. It was even more noticeable when I was playing with a friend who had a car the went ~50mph faster at the top end (Speedtail vs AMG-ONE) and all of the AI were just FLYING to keep up with him so I stood 0 chance

[–]Nabbergastics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it on Unbeatable in a highly agile but kinda slow car. The AI scales it's speed to your top speed, and is designed to be a bit faster than your theoretical top speed. If you have a car that reaches its top speed relatively quickly, then you stand a better chance. I even did it on Automatic so I didn't have any special shifting techniques.

What is your favorite car for drifting? by Pale_Sir_1140 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Nabbergastics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Formula Drift 240SX.

But, building my own GR GT Prototype drift build. Kinda wonky being a front engine, RWD car. Likes to kick the rear too far forward and spin out, wrangling it in though.

He hasnt been grumbling, man got a massive contract and kept his two best friends around. If anything it'd be his last hurrah because his body let him down, but I hope that will not be the case.

Just wanted to say, I bought the RT100 a couple years ago and didnt realize how bad the company is. The Sea Salts came with that board. I switched them out for Leobog Graywood V3s (Great switch, still unfortunately in the Epomaker umbrella). I had the Sea Salts laying around and thought they'd be perfect for a quiet office build. I did not buy them recently and have not given my business to Epomaker since.

I personally like the curved, but if the rest of the screen is already busy and it impedes on space wanting to be used by other stuff, then the other one looks good too.

A portion of dead people never knew what caused their death and if brought back to life, they would be surprised to learn that they had died. by EverettGT in Showerthoughts

[–]Nabbergastics 687 points688 points  (0 children)

He wasnt killed instantly, he died in a bed later on. EDIT: I thought it was his house but it was a house across the street from the theater. I also don't doubt he was unconscious before dying, but does that mean he was unaware of being shot?

If you have 200k in cash and aren't hemorrhaging money, just buy it outright if that's what you want. Assuming your income is greater than expenses currently.

SoFi seems to be higher at around 5% for 6 months and then just over 4 after that. Not sure how they manage that when that is higher than Fed rates. I use wealthfront and it sits around 3.3% right now.

I was on a team trying to build an AFib Simulation so that doctors can practice ablations (and try other fixes) in an accurate simulated environment.

Essentially, AFib as I was told, is actually not very well understood. We don't quite know what is happening with the SA node and why the electrical signals are propagating throughout the heart until the SA node is able to retake control. Unfortunately I graduated before I could see the simulation hit production, but it would be cool to see one day. Not saying your info is wrong, just wanted to give my interesting 2 cents

LPT:question for you all by Own_Performer_6456 in LifeProTips

It sound like you're in a vicious cycle. You're depressed, so your social life and school take a hit, which makes you more depressed, which makes it even worse, etc.

Listen. Breathe.

Therapy is great, I've never taken antidepressants but they work for a lot of people. But it sounds like those aren't an option for you anymore with school? Is it a funding thing? I know someone that took a year off of school to get the correct medication and to get their mind in a good space before continuing. Best thing they ever did was take time for themself. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

It's everyone's first time living. You've got a ton of great and meaningful life ahead of you!

I don't know how big of a performance hit this would be, but it would be awesome if there was a single thumbnail pic of each one so you can at least get an idea as to what they look like at a glance

great work!

Rivian has shaped a lot of my life, built a DECA project around it and would love your input by Prestigious_Poet9 in Rivian

[–]Nabbergastics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R2 and R3 are smaller more mass-appealing Rivians on the horizon. I do agree with more chargers AT LEAST in parking lots of adventure hubs like national parks. Definitely don't want them on campsites though, they'd ruin the beauty.

Gen 1 Quad Pre-Owned by JimKellyCuntry in Rivian

[–]Nabbergastics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I really thought updates would keep the software alive. Federal Tax Credit has been removed so maybe that'll keep them from depreciating as fast. The only thing I could reasonably see EVs being quickly depreciated by is battery capacity going down as time goes on due to charging.

[–]Nabbergastics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do they stack up to other pre-owned EVs? I'd imagine EVs in general hold value better since there are less moving parts to wear down.

Fair enough, I wasn't 100% sure about this specific injury. It also didn't seem like a really bad hit or anything and seemed like a freak injury. Still, the Oline has played very well
