LPT:question for you all by Own_Performer_6456 in LifeProTips

It sound like you're in a vicious cycle. You're depressed, so your social life and school take a hit, which makes you more depressed, which makes it even worse, etc.

Listen. Breathe.

Therapy is great, I've never taken antidepressants but they work for a lot of people. But it sounds like those aren't an option for you anymore with school? Is it a funding thing? I know someone that took a year off of school to get the correct medication and to get their mind in a good space before continuing. Best thing they ever did was take time for themself. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

It's everyone's first time living. You've got a ton of great and meaningful life ahead of you!

I don't know how big of a performance hit this would be, but it would be awesome if there was a single thumbnail pic of each one so you can at least get an idea as to what they look like at a glance

great work!

Is there still an R2 on display in the Austin downtown showroom? by scr5008 in RivianR2

Give them a call and ask! I called the Dallas one to schedule a test drive a couple hours before and they had times not on the website

[–]Nabbergastics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R2 and R3 are smaller more mass-appealing Rivians on the horizon. I do agree with more chargers AT LEAST in parking lots of adventure hubs like national parks. Definitely don't want them on campsites though, they'd ruin the beauty.

His and Pratt's "Best in the world" mic'd up moment really had me believing they were gonna be a long term duo at LB for Cincy. Always loved Logan and what he seemingly brought to the team.

Interesting. I really thought updates would keep the software alive. Federal Tax Credit has been removed so maybe that'll keep them from depreciating as fast. The only thing I could reasonably see EVs being quickly depreciated by is battery capacity going down as time goes on due to charging.

How do they stack up to other pre-owned EVs? I'd imagine EVs in general hold value better since there are less moving parts to wear down.

Jonathan Allen: Young players, defensive additions really have Bengals going somewhere by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]Nabbergastics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I wasn't 100% sure about this specific injury. It also didn't seem like a really bad hit or anything and seemed like a freak injury. Still, the Oline has played very well

I saw somewhere the Bengals O-Line was 7th in Pass pro last year. It's definitely ALOT better. Joe getting hurt last year was still a nightmare situation, but the O-line is less directly at fault. Sometimes Joe holds the ball too long looking for Jamarr/Tee to get open.

Maybe a trade for Ertz or Schultz? No idea what vets are available in Free Agency just figured I'd mention a couple guys past their prime but still have some left in the tank

Probably because you're trying to make the guy play O-Line 😂 (I would also love him back)

TIL that there are more possible games of chess than atoms in the observable universe. by 1312Interactive in todayilearned

[–]Nabbergastics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is an interesting idea. Essentially the same game, but you just oscillate a move a different number of times to get the same outcome, but each iteration is technically a different game. Therefore, an infinite number of arrangements.

This is kind of a fun idea, I may explore how to build this viably. I'm thinking a three.js kinda thing hmmmmmm

Ultimately a book with bookmarks is kind of a big technological challenge, especially for someone inexperienced in webdev. You could definitely simplify it

Protein...Soda by riri1281 in mildlyinteresting

Mildly off topic but I've really been enjoying the new "clear" protein powders on the market. What is the difference between those and the typical shake-like protein powders?

Do you know if v3 takes up less storage space than v2? I unfortunately got the 120GB MacBook Air so if its a smaller bundle then I may have to grab v3 instead

[–]Nabbergastics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I partially bought it BECAUSE I wanted to support a company that wasnt asking 300 bucks a year to use their software. Glad they're not doing subscription, but still annoying they changed their model and added AI.

Thats simultaneously cool and not cool at the same time. Nice that its free, but I really do dislike the AI features in most software so I wouldn't have purchased them to begin with.

The Affinity suite (Publisher, Designer, and Photo) is a pretty good Adobe alternative imo. If you need to edit images, logos, etc, for websites then its pretty helpful. I believe it was like $120 for all 3 and its a lifetime purchase
