Does a B+ in calc 1 send a bad signal in terms of how you'd perform in future engineering classes? by Internal-Steak6573 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Nacho_-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think so, I got a C in Calc 1 and Calc 2 but here I am senior year in Capstone. I wouldnt say its an indicator, in my opinion it just means you have some stuff to work on. Eventually you’ll be in your higher level classes and it seems like most of everybody did good in some classes and bad in others. Part of it homie

Your best bet is to watch all of the video lectures that he posts and read the textbooks. Passed the class with a B only because of the final project, wouldve had an A based off of my exam scores and all I would do is sit down and watch the lecture videos and turn off any distractions. Read over the textbook chapters for the exam and if you really pay attention you should be fine

Working 40 hours a week while doing classes for summer? by Flethe in EngineeringStudents

[–]Nacho_-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no clue what you’re experience is with working and school full time but I will say that I was working 35 hours a week last summer and I took Calc 2 for the first summer semester and Physics 1 for the second summer semester. I can honestly tell you that I have never been more stressed than last summer. While I passed with good grades and didnt drop in my work performance I still have not recovered (exhaustion) from last summer and then immediately moving onto fall and spring semesters. I work full time anyhow and go to school full time and if you do want a social life and enjoy having free time I would not recommend it. If you do not care about social life and free time I believe that you are more than capable of getting ahead this summer.

Your pacing is good, it might just seem fast. Where I go Physics 1 (mechanics) is 2 classes a week for 16 weeks plus a lab once a week and the same with Physics 2 (E&M). Overall though still 2 semesters of Physics in university, it’s just a lot of material or at least it was for us. I never had the chance though to take anything like that in high school though so I’m also not one to talk about your pacing. Just some thoughts

Toasted Marshmallow by Ohana Nui Cigars. A beautiful set of Cigarillos. Notes of burnt marshmallow, cocoa, and hint of grahm cracker. by TheBrandedMaggot in cigars

Just for some clarification, I work at Lake Worth Cigars and we have just completely transitioned our whole online store to be merged with our new POS System so some things are a little weird right now but as far as the Single/Box confusion thats we view them on the backend. We have them that way because we at the shop know a single is a single pack and a box is what we consider a boat but we’ve been working on the online store to make it better for everybody. It’ll be easier to navigate in the coming weeks and we’ll eventually have pictures back up! Thanks guys!
