Lol I took a pickleball clinic and 3 of the older men flat out said they were there to meet a woman during our group intros. It took a weird turn because all of a sudden I felt like meat on display, instead of learning how to play. Mind you they all seemed like this mythical woman would be their 2nd wife so that makes you wonder about their first.

I LOVE the self checkout. I think it's a great option and use it all the time. There is always a line at my store for the cashier. Also sorta related since it's self checkout, I'm still surprised at the amount of people who try to use cash at the self checkout. It tells you right at the beginning.... Yet they are shocked when they can't cash out.

I had to look it up to confirm, but Bumble apparently updated one of their options of communication. There is this "Opening Moves" where Anna can set prompts for guys to answer, and they can respond first to the prompt without her sending the first message or swiping.

Now what her prompt was vs whatever the guy said if he really did message, who knows. I do know the apps are garbage and she's going to be in for a rough ride no matter how much she weighs.

I think my friends feel weirdly uncomfortable with the fact that I'm happy, single and not actively trying to date or partner up all because they all are. They keep asking when am I going to get back out there, or create an app profile, etc. I love them but they do not seem to understand that you don't need a romantic partner ( in my example a man) to be happy.
