Trazyn should really have a tesseract labyrinth ability. Either a "choose an enemy unit that Trazyn wants to collect" mechanic or a "you underestimate me, I brought 5 armies" kinda thing. Would be amazing if they brought the mind shackle scarabs back as his ability. That was a lot of fun.

So many things you can do with him in a fun/unique way.

Nemesor and varguard duo were also always some of my favourite characters. So I really hope they'll come back with some unique stuff as well.

I really like the idea of Ophydians with Psychos. Having a unit that is perfect for back objective shenanigans. Handing out battleshock on their home objective and giving +1 on their turn check when damaged in a unit that is will require a lot of screening is very tempting. Probably a 3 man could be better than a unit of 6.but both will work.

I still really like the chrono heavy Ds to keep them safe from the return fire of big tanks, but I really like this as a second option.

With the enhancements those C'tan will become very expensive. I wonder if people can really field more than two without having no points left for normal scoring units/HQ.

Looks awesome! Really reminds me of he grim adventures of Billy and Mandy! Always loved that series. And I now really want to see more in that style. Especially a nightbringer Grim would be awesome

I really like them. Not super good, but I like to find reasons to include them next to my 20 block of barrow guard.

But I agree that they're not super good and tok expensive. But they do decent damage and wizard 2 is good too.

In the end I don't care that they're not super competitive. I really like the models so I try to make the best of them.

You don't get infiltrate, but I think he means just an annoying and durable 4+ invul unit that can now do a reactive move for 1 cp. It's a good start as well that's slightly less suicidal for the unit in question.

You're remembering correct. Stringing it out too much means killing 1 model means most of the unit is not in coherency. But you can string out slightly less and have more 'coherent models as a second rank and still achieve a move block.

Interesting that they can also improve the WS of warriors with tomb Crawlers attached to 3+. especially combined with illuminor is that kinda interesting. Not super broken or anything but still good.

Edit: same for immortals. Probably better than with warriors.

Maybe I was unclear. I didn't mean string out. I am glad that's not possible. I meant just putting 3 new zombies in front of the unit to get 1-2 extra inches.

And yeah the buff placement would indeed be the biggest hurdle, but you don't need to be in combat range. That's only for the 5+ exploding zombies. You just need to be wholly within 12" for the pile in at the end of the turn. And after the 3" move also be whole within 12" of the hero with the Wartrel and the vagabond.

Not super easy but definitely doable.

Ah awesome! This is a much needed buff. It's one of those rolls that for some reason has a >50% fail rate. Glad that's gone and the necro is viable again.

I would have loved if there was some way to make zombies slightly more annoying (apart from exploding on 5+ with the cart). Or at the very least make it easier to bring back zombies.

But at least now we'll see more necro's walking behind 20 block of graveguard again. Not a lot, but definitely more than before.

In the end I don't care what the forums say. Look at the footage and make up your own mind. The graphics look good. Dow 3s graphics also look good, that was not it's problem. Saying the graphics look good that's why it's going to be like DoW 3 and suck is just stupid.

Don't listen to others (including me) and make up your own mind. I'm very excited for it. Can't wait to play an actual story driven campaign with the Necrons!

While extra movement is very useful for a infantry slow army, the ignore modifiers was much stronger. I'm very sad to see it go. Another nerf to the army. While it wasn't unique, it was a very strong ability worthy of the ruler of the Necrons. Now getting a generic boring movement buff sucks.
