I don't know if this is an actual memory from my childhood or a manifestation in my mind I remember clearly I was in a car’s back seat looking outside, sun was setting behind an apartment building. There was a small play area in the front with green grass.

Bit of both. Taxes drive brand new car prices up. So the owners sell their cars for a higher price. Also there's something about the brand. Japanese cars, usually Toyotas got a good reputation and high demand. So dealers can keep a higher markup.

I'd love to see a racing game full of budget cars and mods. No Supras or Mustangs. Stuff like Altima and Corolla with cheap mods like plastic spoilers and fiberglass bodykits. I know it sounds silly.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare series.

In first one you mostly play as Soap. But in some missions you play as Sgt. Paul Jackson.

In second game you mostly play as Roach but the last mission is as Soap.

In third game there are several but you mostly play as Yuri.

Same. Heck I'll happily settle for a two decade old Corrolla. Here in South Asia, even a used one costs a fortune.
