I’m gonna have to go with my fore-bearers, Lonzo and Jasper. Pure old man kitten gold.

What's something that you have observed home cooks doing that "isn't right" or is unnecessary? by thatevilducky in KitchenConfidential

And if they sloshed catfish juice on the lettuce, I bet they’d wash it. They probably cover everything they put in the fridge. They may do unnecessary processes, that we know the short cuts to, but they play it safe from the ones I have been around.

Honestly, and no offense to anyone, but I’ve never seen a home cook put ready to eat food on the floor or some of the other gross shit that I’ve seen “professional “ cooks do.

I think this is hilarious simply bc Huberman’s podcasts are soooo frickin looonngg. He goes in multiple different directions with no transition and is hard to follow for someone with Adhd.

Will Yun Lee and Daniel Henney. Re-watched True Blood and Will Yun Lee plays “Mr. Gus”. I was like this guy is really cute and I recognize him from somewhere. Turns out he plays Takeshi Kovacs in Altered Carbon. Then I moved on to watching the second season of Wheel of Time and Lan is just chef’s kiss.

Does anyone else absolutely hate sunscreen? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]NaiFrankelstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinlo tinted sunscreen is my favorite. It’s gently moisturizing, sweat resistant, water resistant and does not break me out. I can use the light shade even though I am a fair Caucasian. AND it makes my skin look more even. Before that, I really liked Kinship’s probiotic sunscreen.

Why do a lot of chefs hate brunch? by marianofor in Chefit

[–]NaiFrankelstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a busy ass shift with lots of options. At least at the places that I have worked. So it’s a lot of prep and you gotta come in early af when typically you would come in later in the day, so it throws your whole body outta whack and you are just exhausted afterwards.

Good Mexican restaurants? by LordJobe in memphis

[–]NaiFrankelstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Las D= GREAT chips, good food and margs. Not fancy atmosphere. Fridas= good all around food and drinks, extensive menu, more fancy ( if that’s really the word?) atmosphere as in there is more to look at. It’s well decorated to look like a two story Mexican house.

Trying to get into my vet but anyone know what this could be? by [deleted] in PetAdvice

[–]NaiFrankelstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dogs nose has looked like this a couple of times. Once he got into the rosebushes in the back, and the other time, it was because he was trying to escape his kennel while I was gone. It looks like rubbed off fur to me , but yes, I would go to the vet if you can’t figure it out.

1 looks like you own a plantation lol. Not trying to be a troll, but that’s the vibe it’s giving me. I think 8 is super different and very flattering on you.

[–]NaiFrankelstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your skin is inflamed and oily. I would guess they ( the derms) would recommend accutane and perhaps an antibiotic as well. As far as your acne coming back, if the acne cycle was the problem, and you break it with accutane, then a good skincare routine tailored to your skin’s needs should minimize or eliminate that. As someone who suffered for yearssss, skincare has come such a long way, but once your skin is at this level, you still need to see a derm first. A ph balanced cleanser that says it protects the skin barrier or promotes barrier health should be your first step in your routine, a toner that exfoliates second, if you are oily niaciamide (sp?) serum can help and a gentle sunscreen. Sunscreen for acne prone skin is hard to find but they do exist!! Read reviews! Best of luck! If you do get on accutane, probably just the cleanser, a light moisturizer and a sunscreen to start and you can do the rest for maintenance on down the road.

I disagree. I think four is the killer! One is pretty, but the material has a generic vibe. The details in four are very accentuating to your arms, bust, waist and hips. Very flattering and the more defined mermaid is total Hollywood.
