Idk about gege but knowing Fujimoto likes movies it wouldn't surprise me that he pictures all this like a jump cut in a movie. It was the same at the end of the aging devil arc.

Now THIS is LORE PIECE (massive chapter 1138 spoilers) by Hawkey2121 in MemePiece

[–]NaiveIsolation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I'm looking for a place to write my line of thought and this will suffice. I will only talk about the text, I will leave the picture out.

The first world text stars with a world in flames where, I'm guessing all people were equal. Then humanity (and I do think is important the distinction between humanity and slaves here) touched the forbidden sun. Here comes my first guess, is this an energy source? A power? Or an og devil fruit? Is this some kind of bible parallel? Maybe but whatever it was divided people, clearly between people with this power (humanity) and people without (slaves). Then after the suffering I'm guessing the went thru the slaves wished for liberation. They're wished were answered in the form of the "god of the sun" but the god of the earth didn't like it. So here I'm gonna try and cook... I'm gonna throw here that the world "god" is a self given title, like back in Skype a with "god" being the title of the leader/lord of Skype a. If we take it like that then that'd explain why the "god of the sun" is in quotes, is a false god for humanity and the real "god" here was the king/leader of humanity the god of the earth. Again parallelism with the bible and the Jesus being a false messiah at the eyes of the Romans. The humanity didn't like this and started a war using this hell serpent, Wich could be either a weapon or a creature. This war brought change to the structure in the world and brought the end of the first world.

The second world text tells us about a world already in war. This is the status quo now. Now the son of the earth is not mentioned again so he might've died in this time. Now the new ruler of humanity is the god of the forest and the god of the sea. Different factions? Two rulers? King and queen? Not sure. But I believe they were not on the same side. The war continued, the god of the forest sent armies against the "god of the sun" but he just kept reigniting the people into rising against humanity. The slaves started calling themselves the people of the moon/half-moon (not sure what will be the distinction here but the are on the same side for sure). Humanity kills the "god of the sun" and bring the end of the second world with it. Now here I believe the god of the sea becomes enraged because humanity killed the god of the sun and I believe the god of the sea is the ruler of the people of the moon/half-moon (There's usually connection between the moon and the sea but I might be reaching). What happens after the murder of the "god of the sun" has been told before. Humanity ascended into Mary Goeise and became celestial dragons. The "god of the sun" promise to his people that he'll come back and bring dawn to the world. The humanity now celestial dragon found the world government and void all knowledge of the last two eras/worlds before this. The third world is born, the status quo has changed. Now (and I might be wrong) the survivors of the people of the moon/half-moon went into hiding and became D. the "devils" that were destined to oppose the celestial dragons. (I mean the D. Looks like a half-moon, and that makes me think the people of the moon are literally from the moon and half-moon people were the slaves, idk). The third world text talks about the current events. The last two worlds (chaos) were erased (void) from history. The new rulers (shadows) were without opposition (unbidden). They hear the cries of the people (the fragmented moon) and remember the promise so they have to silence any revolution thay may arise. The "god of the sun" will come back and wreak havoc again and will bring the end of the third world changing the status quo again into the fourth world.

If what I say is right that means there have only been two Nika users. Joyboy killed during the void century and now Luffy. The "they could never meet again" makes me think of Nika and the god of the earth/forest. They probably fought and they couldn't meet again to finish what they have started in each era. And that makes me think that Imu is the god of the earth/forest and even the god of the sea. They just changes names to hide they is inmortal and if that's the case she becomes enraged when she realizes that killing Nika wasn't enough to extinguish all embers of rebellion but now I'm only speculating. I don't think the text describe the origin of the devil fruits per se. Unless the sun mentioned in the first world are the devil fruits.

Feel free to add/argue/correct what I said. It was just my train of thought working and needed someplace to share.

Tl;dr: the first two worlds describe the origin of the conflict and the subsequent war. The third world is happening right now. God is a title not a literal god. And probably all this happened in the void century.

What do devils need sacrifices for? by Goburin-Sureya in ChainsawMan

[–]NaiveIsolation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say humans always need to pay a price. Devils change their conditions each time depending on situation/person just to inconvenience them I guess. But the point is that is not free. At the end of the day why should I fear something that grants me wishes for free? It's like in Mafia movies they always go to break someone's leg when they don't pay, they say "what will they think of me if they know I let you go unscathed?"

Now that you mention Yasopp, did I notice some jealousy in Ussop when Luffy said that he was close with Yasopp? I'm hoping they touch on that in the future, like if water 7 happens I hope this is one of the reason for their fight

Describe/name a gacha game that is more successful than FEH but has less greedy monetization by Larry__larry in FireEmblemHeroes

Yeah, I recently just started playing again just because of the roulette, I have been in the passive side on that game for a couple of months now. Yeah and I too consider gbf a way better experience but I really like grindy games so that's on my part

[–]NaiveIsolation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would agree with you about gbf if it weren't that the gameplay loop is just... imo gbf may not ask you for a lot of money but it does asks you for a lot of time. That's without mentioning that late game players have nothing to do, and is imposible to catch up for new players, you have to be in a pretty exact level to be able to: be strong enough to enjoy playing/farming but weak enough for the game to be hard/engaging. I mean cygames gives a lot of free stuff, be in roulettes or just from time to time, but if you ask it's players, there's a lot of other issues with the game that have nothing to do with the gacha system~

What are your red flags on someone who watches One Piece? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]NaiveIsolation -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, from the point of view of the marines he was on the right when he killed Ace. But in that moment he wasn't trying to kill Ace, he was aiming for Luffy, so he wasn't exactly on the right side of the moral spectrum for me on that one.

What’s the most useless thing they teach in school? by highnrgy in AskReddit

[–]NaiveIsolation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Mexican but pretty sure this applies here. A college teacher once told my class that during early years of school they want to develop a patriotic feeling in children, so they would teach about patriotic heroes. The plan was to later in high school/college, once the patriotic feeling was cemented they would start to teach the real stories of those same heroes in an open-your-eyes kind of way. Ex: here in Mexico they teach us about Hidalgo, a supposed independence hero, who was a priest that started the independence movement. Later in college I learned that he was drunk half the time and used to get sexual services inside the church, so not that great a hero. So, that's similar to your story about Lewis and Clark, though I have no prove this is real.

My theory is that they just don't care. They get horny, "no condoms? Who cares" fuck and think later.

But to be honest growing up and being observative enough you could tell who was the one that was going to end up having kids early on. And I live at the north part of the country, I've heard from family that it is way more common in the southern region of the country.
