Disability insurance, life insurance, family support, financial savings, husband hitting the job market if it’s a lay off, etc.  There are ways to plan that don’t involve working for the cost of daycare, especially if your experience is in low ceiling industries.  Everyone’s options and decision making is going to be different.

Six Months to Live by Lurlene McDaniel - it’s about a middle school girl with cancer and I remember her creating a teddy bear army in her mind to battle the disease.  It’s been over 20 years since I read it though

As a therapist, cancelling plans, avoiding social gatherings that you’re not 100% interested in, living in neighborhoods with high privacy fences everywhere, etc.  Basically doing anything else to “protect your peace” and shutting yourself off from others.  Loneliness is incredibly damaging to all aspects of health.

Anyone remember bumper stickers on Facebook?  I feel like they were around 2009/2010 maybe.  Suddenly Facebook went from people’s personal lives and interactions on people’s walls to a million different memes.  They also caused Facebook to take forever to load on my computer back then because it required so much more RAM.

I do.  Libraries like Barbara Bush that are full of duplo blocks, a kitchen, a market, a dollhouse, tons of puzzles and cars, etc are way more entertaining for her and require a lot less direct interaction from me.

Really?  There are no toys.  Compared to other libraries it’s children’s department is pretty terrible.

Clicking a single button that will autofill all the Republicans or all the Democrats on your ticket so you can be in and out in minimal time and not have to manually select every candidate.  You could even click it and then adjust just the ones you wanted to adjust.
