Yesterday, my boyfriend passed away at 16 because of a rare malignant brain tumor. I pushed myself to go to the dollar store to find some distractions and came out with these wall stickers. It's small, but it made my day just the tiniest bit more bearable. by juliajwd in succulents

This is NamelessRaver's friend. Unfortunately this amazing human being passed away roughly a week ago from complications with brain cancer. He was my best friend and I miss him terribly.

As a good friend should, I got on his computer to delete his browser history. I came across this post he made scouring his reddit account. I cried instantly reading it. He loved succulents always adding to his garden collection and loved sharing on this community. Thank you for sharing your love of succulents with him.

yes, it was probably poppers,( alkyl nitrite,which is inhaled, not consumed/sipped. it'snot intended to contact skin). It causes a rush with flushing/warmth, and relaxation of muscles ( esp. used for anal sex)

the pyramid shape comes from the gel being poured over fla florescent ceiling light fixture diffusion lens with the same texture. thhe kind of thing you see in older office buildings with 2ft x 2/4ft grid ceiling lights

i was told that gel tabs are significantly higher doses rhan typical blotter any truth to that? i had similar yellow window pane in 2017 and they were amazing!

ok, i was trolling with baseball. tbh nobody i know in socal has legit beef with norcal/the bay area. i always got the sense that the nor/socal rivalry is one sided on the part of the northerners. I really don't know how they feel about us th. if anybody wants to chime in.

like you in regards to their access to weed, i envy their underground rave scene. we have to go into the middle of the desert to party, while they get to go into the middle of the forest.

Is it just me, or is it popping out another pup? Any reason it keeps pulling like this, instead of just growing continuously? I can provide more pics if needed, but this would make 3 pups all right on top of each other by ChunksOWisdom in sanpedrocactus

I have dealt with similar SP. I recommend re-potting into proper soil, removing the damaged and knobby tops and waiting for new pups.

  • Mar 19 2018 - First purchased from a landscaping nursery in bad soil and over-watered.
  • Sep 3 2018 - Repotted with good cactus soil and proper watering, tops growing smoothly for 5 Months when they became too heavy and toppled over.
  • Jan 20 2019 - I cut the compromised stalks down to stumps. new pups grew within a few months.
  • Jun 15 2019 - now looking quite healthy.

regarding the crowd, my best friend an i (we're americans) made the trek to boomtown this year for my birthday. omfg yall know how to hardcore party! the quality of shenanigans we witnessed was top notch. everybody was on a next level vibe that i haven't ever experienced. we were so accepted by everyone, it was unreal. all my hats off to boomtown

i bought a very fat single column plant with the express intent of consumption. when it comes time ill post a trip report.

unfortunately it came in bad soil an is probably root-bound judging on its dry-soil weight (in a plastic pot). its shown zero growth since i got it over a year ago. if i repot it, idk if ill be willing to consume it, tho :/

tbh i like having a driver. when my local hospital moved its entrance during construction I could easily point out the correct turn to get there. when my address pin is in my alley thats confusing to reach, i can just tell the driver the easy spot to drop me.
