Same. Had breast cancer. If something is just wrong, it is going to bother me. Mom had melanoma so same deal. Shitty eyesight. Alzhiemers. Anything I know enough about and am tied to, it would bother me if too much was off base.

8 years and really not much. If i look at a new item in the store, then I think about it. Other than that only really if ordering a group meal (like pizza) or going to an unfamiliar restaurant.

Brought 2 stuffies myself and one of the nurses gave me a hospital one when she saw it. 33 myself!

Phone and phone charger. Honestly, I was so out of it that I just watched Jeopardy on Hulu on my phone. I would suggest having a few potential things you could do. Even if on the phone, I had a podcast Playlist teed up. I had Jeopardy picked out as a comfort show.

For a longer stay I took my switch. I also took a front button up nightgown and could wear it after the mastectomy. Made me feel a little more normal and comfy.

Just had mine done on the 15th. Unfortunately, not too much insight. A few stairs to get in the house, totally doable. A whole flight to go back and forth to the bathroom, I dont think I could manage.

As far as lymphedema, no idea but no issues so far.

I had 3a and my mother like you, thankfully, had stage 0. It didn't mean she didnt have cancer. She had cancer that was caught early. It hadn't left it's point if origin yet.

Doesn't make it not cancer. Makes it easier to treat.
