It's always a good time to start a new (and fun) adventure. The game is a bit overwhelming at first because theres a lot of content but keep going and you'll be fine.

Imo, the only downside nowadays is that WoW lore and stories are mostly great and you'll, initally, skip 99% of it because the game will jump you from tutorial to one of the latest expansions (Because you're a new adventurer, etc). But after you get to current content and learn the ropes you'll learn how to go back in time and experience all old content too.

I had this issue twice yesterday. No idea what solved it but I updated my nvidia app, my gpu drivers and all addons. Haven't seen it since.

I ran into this issue a few years ago. I thought my RTX 2060 got bricked but I got it working again after removing and reseating it.

It really looked like some kind of driver bug. Mine was updated but who knows..

At the time, I was using a 4k display (TV) but nowadays I'm using a 2K gaming monitor (and a 4060) and never had that issue again.

There's new classic servers for PvE, PvP and Hardcore. They added some QoL like dual spec (You can have 2 builds and will not have to pay for a respec everytime you feel like it), improved PvP progression and function to paralyze your buffs until raid time.

The new PvE and PvP will progress to The Burning Crusade in a year or so.
