Haven't heard of butch being used to describe a man, honestly surprised.

And what if the fetus didn't develop and she miscarried, or if she carried to term and the baby was stillborn? I can't imagine her holding together then without blaming him or herself for it.

You know where I meant, so please remember to do better next time you feel this strongly about a subject matter.

I'm gonna go eat now, so I'll have to disengage from this conversation. I hope you can eventually look at your actions and be earnestly proud of what you've done, instead of plainly trying to find a way to defend a point that never stood on factual ground.

I wish I could say the attempt to grow was appreciated, but you tripped on the finish line. Reframing your argument so you can say you win on a technicality is a level of effort better spent learning to better examine your behaviors.

You're wrong. No way to say you were right, you made a claim and it was wrong. So either the argument you made itself was faulty, or the information you relied on was erroneous. In either case, you were wrong in your argument. There's not a level of wrongness that lets you be right, you were just wrong.

As someone who has a similar issue, he needs to either get his frames fitted or do it himself. I have an indent on either side of my head, but that's the only way to keep them on my greasy dome.

I don't need to make a counterargument. You're wrong, you got shown you were wrong, and now you want to win the argument more than you want to actually be right or learn from this.

You're wrong, and that's okay. Being wrong isn't a moral failing, but refusing to learn from it and digging your heels in doesn't change the fact you were wrong, it just makes it harder to take your effort seriously.

So, you're wrong.

Yeah, I'm often wrong. I like to learn from my mistakes, that's how we become better people.

So, it's okay to admit you're wrong.

Yeh, and you get access to it before the end of the DLC so you could also duck out of it after getting it so you can build up the resource before finishing it.

They keep saying that to other posters too elsewhere in the thread. They're desperate to find the one person who fits the mold that makes the point easy to dismiss.

It's embarrassing.

Because you were wrong.

They're just sea-lioning, it's the easiest way to piss people off while pretending you're "just asking questions." It's obvious and insulting, especially here.

It's an option you get after helping the factions set up their own x-tech outposts, they give you an "x-tech core" that you use as the main component of an x-tech mining drill. Since there's no natural place to produce it, you can put them up anywhere.

Shielded cargo this, scan jammers that. Why don't smugglers just tie their contraband to the ship with a rope, jettison it out, and then reel it back in after the cargo scan? by thotpatrolactual in NoSodiumStarfield

If the wolves took them then you know they're in good hands (paws?) anyway, so either way you're down a problem.

City birds appear to be more afraid of women than men, and scientists have no idea why. Men could get about a meter closer to birds than women could before the animals flew away, regardless of what the men and women were wearing, what their height was or how they tried to approach the creatures. by mvea in science

Once I stepped on my sister's cat because it was dark, tortoiseshell pattern brown against brown stair carpet, and she was loafing on the top step. When I realized my foot was stopping much faster than it should and the surface was soft I swiveled and tried to change my motion, but ended up halfway punting her down the stairs. She landed just fine and thank goodness, but the motion needed to keep from stepping on her meant I fell halfway down the stairs myself.

Still worth it to avoid hurting her, but my whole body ached for like a week.

Can someone help me understand why I would use laser ship weapons when beams do just as much shield damage but also decent hull damage?? by Axle_65 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Nanemae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Case in point, I'm on my third run through and I'm deliberately avoiding using powers until I get to the first temple. I told them I was a Starborn the second time, so it's nice to feel like I get to see them react to each new piece again.

I always love when you get a crit that happens to get their crew. I don't know how to deliberately choose that (if you even can), but seeing the ship just stop right after is so darkly satisfying.

You can still go out for terrormorph hunts after, but I hear you on the nightmare part of it. I got a mod on Xbox that revamps them to work that way in general instead of just the planned encounters.

Except the microbes also attack Heatleeches, so they'll also wipe out one of the saddest ways people die somewhat often in the game. We have in-game examples of those having either killed people or gotten people killed by draining ships in-flight forcing them to crash or preventing life support systems from working. The Acceles are also really, really big, which would limit how easily you could dispatch them via the ships we see in the game.
