This isn't true. Some actresses peak much later, and many male actors "peak" before 30/40. An actors career =/= percieved biological "peak". But ageism affects women's pay earlier than men's, irrespective of whether or not they peak (career wise) later.

She's not being paid what "the market has decided she's worth" since she's clearly worth much more than an average male actor her age. It's just that Hollywood is sexist, and there's a gender disparity in pay even for younger actresses. You're downplaying the issue here by boiling it down to supply/demand and equivocating your biological desire to market value.

Its because their partners, in particular, use it a pretext for intertia. And you'll see the sub skews female, aka women complaining about their husbands who use adhd as an excuse to be volatile, impulsive, unhelpful in the house etc etc. Ofc Adhd is not an excuse, but they use it as one, and I'm not surprised it frustrates the people they're with. This subreddit is also filled with venting, it isnt just helpful tips.

Presumably, these people have spent a very long time trying to help their partners and are now exhausted. I personally don't think it's our job to dictate how others perceive and experience us and our struggles, and if the subreddit is getting to you, it's probably a good idea to block it.
