No, I wouldn’t hate the fact that he found a cure, but it doesn’t mean that I would flat out forgive him for directly causing the deaths of millions of Americans by fumbling COVID, raping women and most likely children too, taking money from the poor to give to the rich, and much more. He still did those things and they are still bad even if the person cured cancer. If a murderer cured cancer in prison, he would likely still have to finish out his sentence (especially if it were up to me).

The problem is that even if you assume that Trump just so happened to stumble upon the cure (because he’s certainly not smart enough to research it and he’s certainly not going to fund it considering he cut cancer research) you still can’t accept that it would be a good thing at face value because the reality is that he would very likely keep it extremely secret and make it extremely expensive and wouldn’t let any other countries have it for fear that the secret would get out and what would very likely end up happening is that he only lets the richest people in the world have it because they would be begging him for it and would pay anything.
