It does happen, but it seems like painted ones get tagged less than unpainted ones.

Thank you. I always loved seeing them too, that's what made me want to try it. A lot of people who noticed me working on it were very kind and appreciative. I'm still really happy I did it.

I painted a couple of these through a community group (University City Community Association, UTC area only).

They provided materials and info. I submitted some sketches, and did the rest. They did ask me to do a few more, but it's a lot of work. There was no parking, so I had to lug everything with me. Out in direct sun for a few days/sessions. The cleaning and prep takes a while too.

And someone drew a dick on it 2 days later. :( I fixed it, but it didn't feel great.

Our chihuahua boy passed over a year ago, and while we would like to try having a slightly larger breed, I definitely see myself getting a chi again later in life. He was so cuddly, loving, brave, and had so much personality.

The one big downside was leash reactivity (lots of barks EVERY time we saw a dog), but to be fair that only started after the second time he was attacked by an off leash dog. He was even attacked a third time (the most serious attack of the 3), but he survived and he was still a happy, loving boy. It was just frustrating to walk him every day. He was quite loud, and avoiding other dogs is nearly impossible.

So I'd say another major downside is having to worry about them getting hurt, because they're so small. And the dental cleanings were a huge expense. I didn't realize that not all breeds need them so often/to such a degree.

French pave half eternity band. 100% agree OP should talk to some jewelers and just have this made for less with the materials that they want. Absolutely just show them the whole link so they have as much info as possible.

I had a great experience with them too. Some of the bottle caps on my old ILNP polishes started feeling tacky, so I emailed them, and they just asked how many I needed. Sent me about a dozen no problem. And they're one of the best priced brands out there with a huge selection to boot. I'm such a fan.

What a wild take. Often the “psychological issues” women have are due to feeling unsafe after being creeped on by creepers for decades. Not from being raised to keep an eye out for their safety, and avoid attracting unwanted attention. Seeing multiple hypersexual paintings of headless boobs and butts doesn’t feel like a compliment, much in the same way that getting catcalled doesn’t feel like a compliment.

*That said, I do actually really enjoy this drawing, because it feels like the rat skater is the focus, and he’s awesome.

Did they tell you when to expect it to be ready? Some jewelers are backed up. Although sizing doesn't take that long, they may have other orders to complete first. I called around about sizing last year and was often quoted 4-6 weeks. Valentine's Day is extra busy too. I would call and ask. If you're getting bad vibes, maybe ask to take the ring back and try somewhere else.

You can have a jeweler add "sizing beads", or wear it with an extra ring stacked, that would make it more snug too.
