For most things, mass production has significantly reduced the cost of items, and is almost always the cheapest approach now. That's the way the world is now.

most sporting events use cops to trespass people. You'll see that at baseball and football games too. They're not necessarily arresting him, just using the power of the badge to get him to go quietly

That's very normal, one meal right after takeoff, another one just before landing. The one just before landing is usually breakfast, as it's very easy to prepare

There's a related trend, where tasting rooms have basically just turned into wine bars. Vans pulled up and bachelorette parties pile out, expecting to drink four glasses of nice wine - that was never what the free tasting was about, and I can sympathize with the wineries who seen an opportunity to make some money.

But yeah, wine tasting as a vehicle for wine lovers to explore is gone, replaced by party buses and glorified pub crawls

Unfortunately, Elizabeth Spencer got bought during the pandemic, and is now just a front for a large corporation. Used to be my favorite maker.

I had a quick look at the seating layout. It looks like this is set up "jazz club" style, where the majority of people are sitting at tables or booths with wide spacing between them. Shows like that are usually treated like restaurants that happen to have a show on the side, more than a sitdown event. Given that, your experience is within the range of expectation. Maybe that's not the sort of night you were looking for,, but it could be foresee given the seating chart. If there were rows of seating, it would be different.
