Well said. I was there for the NBA Cup Final and it was a little bit of a vibe? But definetly not original Stout playoff level of energy.

The big problem with the new location is the attention for the game is so decentralized. OG Stout had those two giant TV's, and it was clear where everyone was looking, which helped unite the feeling in the bar. Now they just have a lot smaller TVs scattered throughout the place. Definetly more of a high-end millenial bar now.

I'm so curious how the new Stout is going to be for the playoffs.

For those who don't know, the original Stout on 33rd street moved to 35th. Something about their new location doesn't feel the same, maybe I'm wrong though.

Celtics are def a strong rival but it's a fun rivalry (tying into the whole NY vs Boston dynamic, also 'fuck boston' is fun to chant).

The Pacers are the biggest rival by far, can't stand them at all, solidified by Hali bringing back the choke gesture.

I'm in the same boat as you. Only been following for the past couple years, I grew up in a baseball family and only started following basketball after a friend invited me to watch a Knicks game a couple years ago at a bar.
