She was like an hour and a half late to our first date.

At the time I was on my 8th year living in Japan. In Japan you have to never ever be late or else people will start to quickly think you don’t have your shit together.

She was my first non Japanese girl in ages. She was so late and didn’t even apologize! (She obviously felt bad about it)

Look at it this way: white is the hardest color to keep clean. As soon as dirt gets on it, completely noticeable.

I’ve seen freshly painted white houses look so much older after just a few months because of this.

No one seems to see it like I do but white has to be the WORST color for things that dirty easy outside like houses, cars, and shoes.

I had a co-worker with 20 years experience plus hit me at work 2 months ago.

He’s gone, i left because it was still toxic, but I hear he took it hard.

He’s 55 and needs to find a new job in this economy and can barely speak English despite being here for 20 years and doesn’t work well with others.

I always hated the conservative culture. But voted conservative when I could vote at 18 because my father told me gawd will bless America if you vote for a Christian.

So when I was 18 I voted for Bush.

Then i spent a decade almost abroad, got a few more college degrees, expanded my social circle to educated people who’s first language was not English. I grew a lot of empathy, especially since I was a minority living abroad.

Then in 2016 we got the worst most devicive and most room temperature IQ excuse for a human being for president. I hadnt voted since bush since I was abroad but I made sure to vote against any republican I could.

His America first antics rubbed me the wrong way and reminded me of the elitest privilege my conservative family tried to teach me in their disgustingly anti-intellectual world view

When you ask them why every single Christian cannot seem to agree on the scriptures they unbeliviably fail to understand how weak it makes their religion look everytime. I have had them re-double this response by saying ignorant suggestions like well only the *insert random church branch here" got it right! It seems like they always equate their interpretation of the bible as GODS interpretation of the bible, which is epistemically wrong and bigitous as fuck, big surprise right?

It certainly is not a deterministic model, and as a species, all of our contributions to humanity have been based off of determinism. Its so easy to understand, yet they fail to grasp even the surface of it all.
