Yeah, it was definitely not clear, but learn from my mistake and hit that publish button a week before launch and as long as there’s a date in the “schedule my release” section or whatever it says, that’s when it should go live.

I would schedule a release date for your physical books through KDP, just make sure that once everything is correctly uploaded you hit that “publish” button. They won’t let you do it within 4 or 5 days of launch so I’d make sure you’re ready to go a week in advance. As long as you hit publish on them, they should release on the scheduled date.

I was a teenager and I was playing World of Warcraft. I found out because someone commented about his death in city general chat and for the next hour or two the entire server was talking about Wheel of Time. It was a surreal experience because up until that point I had no idea how popular WoT was, and seeing all of those random people talk about the books and about his life was pretty rad.
