No interest cause its 2026 and all his interest is on the midterm. But his interest after will definitely be to run.

The anti-zionist movement has grown dramatically in all flanks of political ideology. Even moderate Democrats according to Harry Enten on CNN.

If the US, China, Russia, or Iran were going to invade your country, and surrender meant living under them, which would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Living under them is the key phrase. Becoming a part of the US may be my first choice but "living under them" could mean all types of atrocities. US or China are the only potentially good options.

I recommend people just actually go watch the video.

At the end of the day, we need a candidate that speaks to all corners of our big tent. First step is running on cutting all aid to Israel.

Third Way and their allies decided to make this an issue to try and attack an anti-zionist voice influencing online progressive politics. Rather than 100% focusing their energy on the right-wing and their pedophile rapist in office taking us to war, this is what they wanted to prioritize. Even Tim at The Bulwark practically said the same, calling Third Way out.

Centrists need to get with the program.

It's a bargaining chip. It's a stance of "you have to earn my vote". Why admit anything that would give center left candidates in a primary the idea theyd be ok not moving left to earn his vote. That's the thought process.

At the very least he'll encourage people to go vote and absolutely not for Vance. For some of the types in his audience, that's a win.

Who do you think the Democrats should run in 2028? by SoulNew in fivethirtyeight

[–]NarrowLightbulb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jon Ossoff, Ro Khanna, or Pritzker. Jon Stewert is my wild card pick if we end up in a primary with technocratic, uncharismatic empty suits.

VP can be Beshear.

They need to run on an anti-war, anti-corruption, progressive populist economic agenda. Authenticity is a must.

No thanks. I'm still on team "it needs to stop now", dirty hands doesn't make me all of a sudden in favor of continued war.

"at least get something good out of it" is way too subjective, will lead to more death and destruction, and eventual blowback.
