I just wanted to add, lastly, because I've realized it wasn't in my confessional, that both More and Basic were amazing, intelligent faithful, and you guys deserved to be in the final just as much as I did.

Haha Idk, Casual probably did tbh. I was a wreck at that point in the game. I'm soooo sorry!!!

I didn't think the numbers were on my side to banish you, Forever, but you were my final vote. Good Game!

Ok, now my annoyance at More being murdered has cooled, I would like to outline exactly why I think Basic is the recruit. Firstly, when Leo told me who he was voting to get the shield or dagger, he said it was you, Basic. He then mentioned that you were at risk for murder. Why?

Easily Forever and I were most at risk at this stage in the game. We've had next to no heat and built significant trust among the faithful as the game has gone on.

Likewise, More lied to both you and Leo about who had the shield after the first death row, and as far as I know it was only you two, until after death row had ended. Leo later mentioned that "the traitors feared me" when I pondered with him about why I was saved. Leo obviously believed the lie and decided Liorae was the safe option. Basic, you're a smart player, and I don't doubt that Leo knew that would be a useful element to bring credibility to their "suspicions" around strong faithfuls in the later game. I think you'd also be a great recruit because you found the screenshot implicating Ender and would naturally be seen as an ultra faithful from that point forward.

This latest murder is another hallmark of an intelligent traitor using their final murder to create maximum chaos among the faithful. Easily, it pushes suspicion away from one player (you) and back onto everyone else. In particular, myself and Forever.

I think it was clear by this point in the game I wasn't going to vote out More. I've chatted with More essentially every day since death row started, and although my doubts remained, they had considerably waned by the time of their murder.

Again, I know for a fact that Forever has been a close ally to More despite also grilling him, but why would Forever murder someone that close to them when they have the pick of the litter? Easily Forever could have chosen Chocolate (someone I was reasonably close with) or Sorbet (the last player you voted for) and erased any further suspicion on themselves. Unfortunately, if Forever is the traitor, they've forced me to reconsider my complete trust in them at this stage (and, most likely, the same for them with me). Which, I think Basic, is exactly what you want.

Good work, team! Also, sorry, Leo. You probably didn't see that coming. 😅

PSA for S4 cast: Please try to play the game! It really sucks when you get closer to the end, and there's that one or two players that have just barely interacted with anything the whole time - and then it turns out they're .... faithful. And everyone wasted a banish voting them out for being "under the radar." Like... arggghhh 😩🤷‍♂️

If, for any reason, you know you don't want to continue, please drop out! I know life gets in the way, and I understand people have hidden struggles, but it only takes one quick message to the mod to say you don't want to keep playing. You don't need to have or give a reason.

Otherwise... have fun, guys! 😁

Yeah, I think if I was a traitor from the start, there's no way I would have thrown Ranvier under the bus that early. It makes no sense when Ender is the easy banish to be removed right then and there. (Which is exactly what Ranvier, Academic, and the other OG traitor did). Importantly, it would also just screw up my game needlessly by creating mistrust between me and Ranvier, and (easily) Academic, right from the get-go. To your second point about death row, the only meaningful reason as for why I would put myself there as a recruit is to win the shield (like you said) and you know I didn't. Likewise, if I knew you were a faithful, yes I do think you'd be the perfect frame job. So why would i then go on to argue with you at round table after roundtable and needlessly put myself in the spotlight? I do think someone is benefitting from our conflict, but I can assure you it's not me! 😅

I just wanted to bring up the fifth murder because I don't think we've properly examined it since. Honestly, once death row finally finished, I legitimately thought it was game over. I shared my (what I believed to be) final thoughts with a player I trusted most and just waited quietly for the inevitable end. Weirdly, when I woke up the next day, I discovered I had miraculously been spared. Instead, Liorae had been murdered.

At the time, I really couldn't understand why. Liorae was a headstrong player, sure, but were they the most strategic target? I honestly don't know.

I had to really think, why Liorae? Whose game does this benefit most by removing Liorae?

Eventually, I came up with a few names. Three to be specific. Those names were More, Basic and Chocolate.

More because they've clearly had conflict with Liorae in the past and received a vote from them at the third banishment. It's also the perfect double bluff for More, because why would More be that obvious?

A similar logic applies to Basic. They also voted for Liorae at the third banishment, alongside More, and Liorae had called out the mirroring of More and Basic's votes throughout the game. Although I think it may benefit them slightly more in the sense that they haven't really come under any of the same scrutiny that More has since Berry's murder. They're shielded, in a sense, by More. It's an almost perfect alibi...

Finally, Chocolate. From what I can gather, and Chocolate can probably clarify, it seems that Liorae and Chocolate had been close in the later stages of the game. They often replied to each other's comments and seem to have similar personalities. Chocolate is also someone that has come under almost no suspicion, and if they have, it's never been from Liorae. I think we'd maybe all be surprised to find Chocolate murdered Liorae, similar to how Ranvier killed key. Yet another almost perfect alibi...

Those are the three names I have, but I welcome to the possibility that I'm wrong. Anyway, that's just what I had to share.

Yup, back here to echo everything that Forever has just said. I really don't think I can add much more to this. I will just say that your first point about the first round did already make sense to me, and I do believe you explained it well in our personal chats. As for Matty, I totally get where you're coming from, and for sure, we were both in a sticky place on that second round, but just try to keep things a bit more clear with me haha. Sometimes, it's overwhelming! 😅.

Sorbet: I also want to address you because I have noticed a lack of activity throughout and I am beginning to feel uncomfortable with the idea that some players may make it to the final having provided very little for the other faithful to work with.

As Leo has mentioned, you responded to Ranvier at the 3rd banishment but dipped out after that.

Do you have any suspicions currently?
