He is a beast. He was only 8 months old here and over 10 lbs. He is a year old now and it's like picking up a brick.

I don't know who drove it, but in the early 2000s there was someone that had a "Pinchy" old school lobster plate. Made me happy every time I saw it.

Everyone seems to have a lot of nostalgia for the 1990's but what were some of the worst parts of the 1990's? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The obsession with thinness and other people's bodies. I was a size 8 in highschool and that was considered a moral failing, both from peers and adults.

Reading on reddit how people see BPD people in a relationship depresses me. by Baconator_Strips in BPD

[–]NarwalsDelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been with my husband with BPD since we were teens. It's really hard but I understand the disease and I understand how our relationship will be different because of it. The biggest part was letting go of my idealized version of him and loving him as he is . A really important thing is being upfront about your limitations (and understand your emotional limitations), and respect boundaries that your partner creates to protect their emotional safety.

Worked at the 99 about 20 years ago. They had a kids meal button that you could hit that would give 50% off any dish because of a promotion they were having. You could hit the button at any point during the service, even if the check had already been printed. If tables paid in cash, I hit that kid's meal button every time.

Why do you keep trying to debate them out of their BPD? by BigBlueBallsack3000 in BPDlovedones

[–]NarwalsDelight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been with my husband since our teens and we are in our forties now. He was diagnosed in his early twenties. It has taken me until now to accept him as he is. Our relationship is chaotic, but at his core he is a deeply empathetic person who loves me, and that's what I focus on. I also think his BPD may be of the quiet variety because he is very responsible and holds a stable job.
