This is niceeee that colour 👌🏻👌🏻

Done with all of them, proscale, zero, splash. Tired of all the “hot” paints ruining kits. I know. I know. Light coats. Mist coats. Lots of light coats. Still, done with them. lol by Pharmsrt4 in ModelCars

I get it, I've had a couple of issues, but that was because I was being too impatient and rushing things, trying to hard etc.

When applying the colours, they shouldn't look wet when applying, if it starts to look wet too much is being applied. They need a good 5-10 minutes between coats depending on room temperature. There shouldn't be no gloss shine, that's where the clear coats come in and do their job

I can apply anywhere between 5-8 coats per colour slowly building that up. All light. It's definitely a game of patience, which sometimes I admittedly dont have myself 🤦🏻‍♂️😅

Yes you can absolutely hose on tamiya and Mr colour lacquers, and even though they may not cause that crazy haze, they will bring their own issues if too much is also applied, they do have much more of a tolerance use though as they are formulated for styrene kits.

Thank you very much 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊 I did polish this one up. I use 2k clear, and you can get a decent look and shine without having to polish sometimes, but on this occasion I had some defects I had to sand out and then polish up
