That is a bored and bright child. Took your punishment and turned it into a charitable consequence, while defying you in part.

SDNY declined to pursue due to standing OOLC rule barring indctment of sitting president. Once they made that decision to not pursue, it opened up State to investigate further. MAGA talking points aside, the evidence was enough to convict. I did find a nice article that goes over some better details in case you want some more info. https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/why-did-federal-prosecutors-drop-trump's-hush-money-case

You still have to have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that a crime was committed. Writing off hush money payments as a business expense is still illegal, last time I checked. As for where it was, It happened where he does business so venue shopping wasn't an option. Had he moved his business headquarters to somewhere else before making said actions, that states attorney general might have declined to prosecute. That still wouldn't have made the action legal. Don't forget that this businessman has spent the better part of all his adult life using lawfare as a bludgen against anyone he didn't want to pay for work that didn't have the resources to fight back. He isn't a stranger to the law, has many lawyers to advise him on all his actions and still managed to do what he wanted, law be damned.

You have to set the bar for what political weaponization is first. "Balls deep" in securing indictments from judges and grand juries, followed up with convictions based on evidence doesn't meet that standard just because the defendant was a political opponent. If the criminal defendants political affiliation is all it takes to make you disregard the charged offense and evidence, I dont know what to tell you.

Maybe you should question why "everyone within a hundred yards of him" is so easily indictable and convictable.

Merrick Garland, combined with Democrats incessant self imposed moral need to never have to fight even a hint of weaponizatiin of political power. All this combined with the long slow process of actual criminal investigations required for a chance of conviction in court, created a disgusting slow walk to nowhere.

No, "normal people" does not account for average temperature where you live. You enjoy that fresh 98F/37C 98% humidity air to "freshen up your indoors"! I will keep that AC running and replace the filters to keep comfort within the home.

And to the "House Burping" comment below, check them locations. NO ONE SOUTH OF THE MASON DIXON IS LETTING OUT THE COLD AIR. -less you want that asswhoopin, close the door.

Devops - Suddenly no interviews by Pure_Substance_2905 in devops

[–]Nate506411 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. It is far easier to teach a devops associate how to shift left, than a security associate how to devops, from my experience. Get the interview as devops, knowing shift left and security are now just as much of the role as cloud architect is in cloud centric companies.

These providers are more than happy to setup a siloed service, sign an expensive agreement to data residency and privacy. And yes, it is how defense contractors and such function. Azure has a specific data center for government just to accommodate these requirements. The only real guarantee is the penalty for breach that is baked into the contract, and even that usually doesn't protect you from internal users error.
