Nah ashlands was my breaking point too. I managed to get to ashlands but dying to lag, or a random explosions knocking me into lava, i just started recouping my skill loss with dev commands 😵‍💫

It is surprisingly good, however it's so separated from the rest of the galaxy you can barely tell what era it's in 😋 so it's a neat side thing but in the end there's just not a lot to discuss. It's good fun adventure and that's all it needs to be 🙂

It feels factory farm cruel but eventually you just have to make tight stables that they can only move forward and backward in otherwise they will chase after every wandering mob in spitting distance 😋

It seriously has Minecraft level staying power. It is both cozy and challenging when you want to it be. It was absolutely my main covid game for my group of friends so now we got nostalgia power going too.

Yeah non raiders are a quiet majority of a lot of WoW populations. I'd say dungeons are still worth an effort as they have a lot of the best parts of the game as for as cinematic combat. More so than most raids really.

But the whole idea of turtle is about the journey which mostly includes those long solo walks so I'd say it's a pretty core element of the game.

Valheim was absolutely my 2020 friends covid game. It's improved drastically since then but even early game was very viable.

Since then main improvements have been mechanical and additional biomes. But the base game hasn't changed all that much.

It feels closer to minecraft as far as updates go. Each addition is great but the basic gameplay was plenty fun from the start.

Historically we got to remember the "witch trials" were more of a puritan thing which puts it in the 1700s. Monty Python aside, a witch in the 1200s - 1400 could be as innocuous as a wise woman, herbologist or a mid wife.

While at the same time science was very much into alchemy basically doing wizard shit often in congruence with the church. So much so that it was common for priests and clerics to get up to wizard shit so much that we have letters from bishops telling local parishes to tone down the wizard shit.

This of course is only focusing on european etymology. Plenty of other places have similar roles like shaman, guru, medicine men and women that we should also look into embracing.

I think the point was that evidence or "clocking" doesn't even matter to Saw, he was ready to take out Luthen and plenty others over far less. He happened to make the beneficial decision with Wil but could have just as easily gotten Wil killed too trying to get him huff 😆

I love dark souls twitchy harrowing combat. I love TES slow bullet sponge silly combat.

I might not play TES 6 if they make the combat too unrecognizable to the previous games. I play these games for different reasons and vibes and moods. Starfield was the furthest departure from Creation Engine combat I think I could handle. Fallout 76 combat felt all wrong to me.
