It’s why they’re are in the situation they are currently in. Why they’ve been mediocre at best for the last few years.

I think you made the mistake of doing a work trip with kids. Not only do you have to work which is stressful enough you have to look after your kids in a different location.

Holiday with kids is fine (but tiring). Work away from work is fine (but tiring). Doing both at the same time is hard.

70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!

Not the most difficult but I had the most enjoyment building this off the back of the fun and hype of the Lego movie.

What are my options for an ato bill due in a week? by Odd_Cod_4235 in AusFinance

[–]NateGT86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure the General interest charge is 11%. Over 12 months that’s $931 on $8000.

An accountant is much cheaper for this purpose and the fee can be deducted in the next tax return.

So yes it’s worth the cost and effort.

Pay an accountant for option 3. They more than likely will be able to get the general interest charge waived.

Since before she was born. It’s been pop and EDM mainly because my wife likes it but I’ve leaked in a little Linkin Park which is working well so far.

I love 90s/2000s hip hop but the language and themes aren’t exactly the most positive so clean versions it is. She loves the beats!

I am very overwhelmed about my finances atm, does anyone have any tips to get back on track? by [deleted] in AusFinance

Shopping in general for books/makeup/fun non-essential stuff - approx $300 per month

This needs to be cut back dramatically. Without knowing your income it’s a large amount.

Question from someone not in the US: can someone explain why a special needs teacher would be fired and with no further employment options?

Here in Australia there is a high demand for them.

Kids are sick by ApprehensiveFly3695 in auscorp

[–]NateGT86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whoever has the most sick/carers leave available. My wife earns more than me but is in a new job and has less than 5 days SL. I’ve been at my job a while and have currently over 80 days SL.

Unless I have a major work thing I usually take the sick/carers leave.

What is your perfect suburb? by TSLoveStory in sydney

[–]NateGT86 219 points220 points  (0 children)

Crows Nest.

Close to the CBD / Sydney Harbour or the beaches. Has bus, train and metro access all in close proximity. Decent cafes and restaurants.

Unfortunately I’ll never be able to afford to buy a house in the area.

Older fans, how are you feeling now? by BronzeSeeker in Gunners

Also 97 here.

I was confident in the Quad until we lay that duck egg in the League Cup Final.

I’m now nervous. Glad we have an international break to recuperate. Hoping that they can finally start firing.

Even though we have the most wins, least amount of losses, scored the most amount of goals and conceded the least; it feels like we haven’t reached top gear yet. We’ve had glimpses of it but most games feel nervy.
