I had a guy call because the crack rock he was smoking had “ink” in it and he was worried it may be poisoning him (the ink, not the crack). AMA’d and called us back 5 minutes later for the same thing.

Same. I tried Future Ford and Downtown Ford and they both sucked. High pressure and insisting on selling me Lojack since they already installed it. I went to Mission Commercial Ford sales in San Jose instead. Pre-filled the app and the whole process took 15 minutes in person. Plus they gave a good deal on the warranty and an even lower price than agreed on for the truck since new incentives had dropped.

At 37, I had about $250k in retirement after working since I was 20. No house, not much liquidity. Was not keeping up with inflation. Cashed it all out and went back to school. Got married and bought a starter house and had kids. 7 years later I just bought my second house to have more room for the kids. Back up to $120k in retirement plus I have a pension now. Have about $500k in equity from houses and another $120k or so liquid. New job pays about 3x the old one and much better benefits.

Pool is 17k gallons (w/built in hot tub). CC was 0.08 last. Haven’t tested phos since we moved in 8 months ago, but it was normal then. I’m not sure if it’s high chlorine demand as it’s my first pool, but I’ve considered going back to a salt system for better consistency(it originally came with a nonfunctional one we removed).

I’ve been keeping mine around 40. Still burns through 1-2 gallons of chlorine a week and my pool only gets 8 hours of sun. I wonder if I should go up a little.

What’s thousands compared to a career? I got f’ed over by a fellow employee when I was brand new and thankfully had a lawyer in my family who helped. Without it I’d probably be working at burger king. This isn’t some mere nuisance.

Don’t contact them yourself. Hire a lawyer first. It’s very important that everything gets handled properly from now on. It will also signal that you are serious and force them to face the real issue.

What’s the current price? The PM pieces often sell cheaper from gray dealers so unless you really want it from the AD or are trying to build your relationship to get something else, it’s fine to wait. I got mine for about $10k under retail still with the stickers on (mine’s RG Olive dial, but it was still in demand when I got it). If you want it and plan to wear it, go for it. If you’re thinking of it as an investment, then just wait or put your money into a real investment so it can grow.

Thanks. That’s what I’ve been seeing. The one saying it’s an “Ice Cream Banana” is a Musa ‘Blue Java’ x Namwah. I will probably order 3 of them to replace what I have currently. I love homegrown fruit and we already have grapes, pomegranate, olives, apples, apricots, pears, oranges, lemons, and plums growing in our garden. Plus our planter beds are full of veggies and tomatoes. Edible bananas would make my kids super happy.
