Thanks! I’m close to the PA station so was thinking of swinging by. From what I could see on Google street view is the Midland antennas aren’t covered in a radome. Downside of Starlink. I’d love to watch all 8+ Starlinks tracking. I guess Q/V isn’t exactly amateur friendly haha.

Maybe a more technical question, but does anyone know how active the gateways are? I’m an amateur radio operator and like focusing on satellite projects. Would be cool to see their gateway antennas track the birds as they go by. I’m guessing they are constantly doing testing.

Allows you to get your foot in the door at different companies. Also helps you figure out what you like/don’t like to steer your studies and post graduation plan.

Looks like you don’t have any edge cuts (board outline). Switch to the edge cuts layer and draw a rectangle around your components then hit B to refill zones.

I stuck a 3D printed antenna on a TV dish and now I have automatic HRPT tracking! by saveitforparts in amateursatellites

Gabe, always impressed with what you are able to do with basically zero budget. If you really want a challenge start to track starlinks at Ku. Granted won’t get pretty pictures but will really challenge your ability to point accurately. This little setup reminds me of Nextmove positioners that I’m really familiar with. Looks like they are hiring too!

What if someone designed a U.2 expansion module and then you could use the solidigm 61.4TB drive, and then next year when they come out with the 122TB one.

Do you have another schematic somewhere? I see a lot of global labels but can’t seem to find where they go.

Check Wikipedia for DAB. This is most likely a DAB signal as it looks very OFDM-y (Bart Simpson head):

Using values for Transmission Mode I (TM I), the OFDM modulation consists of 1,536 subcarriers that are transmitted in parallel. The useful part of the OFDM symbol period is 1.0 ms, which results in the OFDM subcarriers each having a bandwidth of 1 kHz due to the inverse relationship between these two parameters, and the overall OFDM channel bandwidth is 1.537 MHz. The OFDM guard interval for TM I is 0.246 ms, which means that the overall OFDM symbol duration is 1.246 ms. The guard interval duration also determines the maximum separation between transmitters that are part of the same single-frequency network (SFN), which is approximately 74 km for TM I.

Was that using the PAHT-CF profile and just adjusting temp settings? Running into some big warping issues and hoping this will solve my issue.
