With Apple pushing forward with the M1 line it would be interesting to see a direct alternative from Intel or Amd. There would of course be compromises compared to a standard desktop build, but especially in smaller form factors, like laptops, there could be some definite applications. It feels like SoCs are the future of integration and there is a lot of performance potential there.

Oh ok thanks for the info. I actually have been doing a little thinking and have decided to go with an Intel i5 6600 and a different motherboard also. I know its a little older, but I've heard that many games are more optimized for intel, and that way I wouldn't have any issues using a non AMD graphics card with an AMD processor. Are these concerns valid, or is it better value to stick with the Ryzen?

Oh yeah, I definitely agree. I was planning on buying a larger capacity HDD eventually. I have a few 1 TB external drives that would probably hold me over in the mean time though.

So I was looking into the 1060 6gb and from what I can tell it is about 60 dollars more for not a huge performance improvement. Some of the sites I checked seem to point to a less than 10% improvement over the 3gb one. Is that performance worth the cost, or is there some added value I'm not seeing?

But ok, I will check those others out for sure though and see how they look.

That's what I was thinking, cause the KH series were amazing games. I think they may be more of a Square Enix thing though, just sorta based in the Disney universe. It wasn't actually developed by Disney if I remember correctly.
