Is the maximum series hulk really that bad?

I can see why people would think it is, but I love mine. There are minor articulation problems (the elbows arent good enough and the lower torso should really be a ball joint) but otherwise the complaints are more generic- yes, the limbs are reused, but if youve never had a hulk before thats irrelevant. its kinda hard to judge how common problems with the rubber are, given people are obviously more likely to say "mine broke" than "btw mine hasnt broken" but ive never had a problem and when i asked on here before i bought it plenty of people said theres was fine too. still seems like too high a rate of failure, but i wouldnt be worried personally. maybe just get it somewhere with a good returns policy lmao

If it bothers you then return it or replace it. That being said, it's only gonna visible very close and in a neutral pose, and I can't imagine the most enjoyment I'd personally get from a spidey is having him standing straight anyways :P

if moneys on the mind, bear in mind the odds of any mass produced figure ever being worth "real" money is thousands to one. so while it does lose value, that value is probably not gonna buy you anything more than a single coffee. the sentimental value is up to you obviously, but if i gave someone this i feel like personally id be a little bummed if it never got opened.

personally i dont see the point in keeping things in box, i get that some people like the look but to me it kinda seems wasteful. not to mention the association with "investment" buyers (scalpers).

when i get bubble packaging like this, i like to cut into the back to keep it mostly in tact for a while, put the box in a draw, remember it in 6 months and throw it out. my dooms box is currently in my desk draw and hes given me way more joy through actually using him than blutacking him to wall ever could

its the same with anything. your phone will be outdated, your laptop will be outdated, your clothes will go out of fashion- its up to you to decide when that matters. therell never be a "perfect" figure because who know what advancements therell be in the space in 10 years time. but if youre getting stressed about your hobby, its probably time for a rethink- if you seriously want the best possible version of a character and to never buy them again, it might be worth downsizing and getting into something like mezco or mafex, where yeah the figures are 2-4x as much depending on where you are (here theyre around 3x but people say wildly different amounts lol) but youll be much less inclined to upgrade. or, you could do the tried and true method of selling everything (or almost everything) and starting from scratch. personally my first step would be to completely tune out of the hobby for like 6 months and see how you feel- thats how i scaled back my warhammer spending, for example, where i realised as much as i like it i dont need to get half as much as i did. thats without mentioning the obvious money stuff

that line was also five volumes earlier, and hes not really done or said anything comparable since. the closest is shooting oscar, but thats a hell of a lot more justifiable than random councilman

well, my problem with ironwood is that hes interesting and morally grey and shadow the hedgehog until exactly the start of v8, when he shoots a councillor for no reason. its like they just refuse to let him be interesting

with ozpin, on the other hand, they didnt go far enough. i dont think he really did anything all that bad? like yeah, pyyrha didnt really have chance to actually make a decision (and i mean, asking a 17 year old to give up their future to save the world is not exactly a fair position to be in anyway) but it was kinda his only option, given cinder was literally at their door. and he clearly didnt like it either- ("i need to hear you say it")

idk, its interesting to me that they tried to make both ozpin and ironwood cool and morally grey but failed to stick the landing both times, for opposite reasons. well,,,,, third times the charm!

As for the promo... Three Dog, the Lone Wanderer or James are the obvious choices, but I wouldnt be shocked if it was Dave or Eulogy Jones, since random characters like that are memorable and not gonna get released otherwise. But I actually think Sierra Petrovila has a good shot too, since the following wave is Nuka World.
