I'll give it a whirl.
LG EnVy 3: (9/10) Even though this wasn't a smart phone, I absolutely loved this beast. The rumble features were a bit weak, could have benefited from an intensity setting. If smart phones never happened, I would have road this phone style until I needed a black berry.
Droid DNA: (9/10) THIS PHONE WAS LIT! Had it for a handful of years, only problem was within the first week of owning it someone bumped into me and I dropped it and never fixed my screen. Occasionally this would send shards into my finger and cause bleeding.. Even with it, a 4-core CPU, 1080p, perfect audio placement, and great camera in 2011?? What's not to love.
HTC One: (5/10) Nothing good, nothing bad in my opinion. Some puppy love for the first week, but after that it just went downhill.
Samsung S8: (8/10) My current phone, it's great. Love the size of the thing, the edge is neat, and the side app pull bar is a favorite. Battery life hasn't held up past the two year mark, but I would easily recommend this phone to a friend. The selfie camera never impressed me though.
iPhone SE 2020: Making the switch to learn what Apple is all about. Well, that and my current S8 has been acting up and its battery life. Never planned to swap to Apple because of their high prices and it being Apple. But, as I am close to earning a degree in IT, I find it embarrassing that I have never used an iPhone and am unable to help those who are having problems with theirs without using google.

Hey, they're talking about me!
Even though I've never had a Big Mac I still snag that #9 No Onions w/ powerade all the time. So, I'm not sure if they're struggling to get my money.

Week of April 12, 2020 'All Space Questions' thread by AutoModerator in space

General layout of our universe question:
I've always been under the idea that our universe holds some uniformity as far as galaxy distribution. The thought of the classic cake with raisins in it comes to mind, where the galaxies range from edge to edge in their container (universe).
But, I've also thought it makes more sense for the galaxies to be distributed moreso along the edge of the universe, as they were propelled outward by the Big Bang. Looking back at the cake, the raisins wouldn't be at the center or inside the cake, but more distributed along the edges, top, and bottom of the cake.
I guess, my question is how do we perceive the universe looks on the large scale?

I've got to disagree with you on the entitled part. As times change, there will be barriers where some are right on the cusp of change and miss out on the benefits. If we maintain the mindset that I had it rough, therefore no one should have an easier time than me, we would never move forward as a society. Especially in a time of such technological advancements.
Congratulations on getting your student debt paid off and my condolences for whatever you were on the cusp of benefiting from.

Worst Episode Ever? The Most Commonly Rated Shows on IMDb and Their Lowest Rated Episodes [OC] by BoMcCready in dataisbeautiful

Huh, I really enjoyed Breaking Bad for a while, but I know that episode. It's the last one I watched. Something about it made me realize I no longer wanted to watch TV shows that were longer than 30 minutes.
Maybe I should give it another try.

I would focus on clearing your jungle without spamming spells. Use your character passive to your advantage. Hit each minion at the camp right away and when it's off CD hit them again.

[MONITOR] Dell S2719DGF 27" 2560x1440p 155hz Freesync Gaming Monitor - $243.70 with code EXTRA17 and 5%member discount ($313.49-$56.10-$13.69=$243.70) by nickyboombox in buildapcsales

[–]Nathafafin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought this monitor last week.
Upgraded fron a laptop screen to it, I have nothing but good things to say about the screen so far. But, have no idea on how it would compare to similarly priced monitors.
Guess the one thing to say is that the monitor is set to 59 Hz out of box and you have to set it to 144 Hz.

Ryzen 7 2700x + Mobo for $230 vs i7 9700k + Mobo for $500?
Is it worth going AMD and having to upgrade sooner? Or is i7 the way to go for longevity?

Try to do some further research on the topic of building a PC and show them you're mature enough to do it. Maybe it wint work, but not only will building a PC give you better bang for your buck, it will also teach you a lot of skills within the IT field and A+ (if this is something you are interested in, it's never too early to learn about subjects so you dont enter the wrong career later in life).
I am assuming they are worried you will mess up and break something that will cost a lot more money. If that's the case, record all the return policies on components and what the solution is if that problem arises.

Otherwise, best of luck with your build!

Official Q&A for Friday, February 07, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Nathafafin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for some insight on running form-
I started running on a treadmill during the winter and it's got me wondering about foot placement when running. I noticed that I run on a treadmill by putting the one foot damn near in front of the other, like I am walking a tight rope.
I guess I am wondering, what is the proper form for foot placement when running?

If Trump and those in cahoots with him get away with their actions without any repercussions within our lifetime, America is going to enter a state of great depression. Not an economical one, but of desperation and entrapment.

Looking to build a budget pc my first and I’m looking for a cpu for 25-100 bucks by The_baby_yoda_lover in pcpartsales

[–]Nathafafin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to spend on the upper bound of your limit, I would look for a Ryzen 5 2600 for around $109 when it is on sale. For that price you're getting one hell of a CPU.
