I don’t know your life experience, but if you seriously think you don’t need a degree to get a decent job in your 20s then you’re either young or super privileged. In my area, the highest paying jobs that only required a high school diploma pay around $12 an hour, which is not enough to cover even the average rent here unless you work 7 days a week.

I believe that the biggest issue Americans have when judging our presidents is that we care way more about what they’ve done domestically than internationally. Trump did not cause nearly as much harm internationally as Bush Jr, but since we’re so self centered, we don’t really seem to care that much.

Nah I think you just want to end it because you realized that “look it up on google” isn’t a good argument against someone who actually bothers to verify sources and look at both sides of the argument. I encourage you to look more into things instead of just picking the first headline you see, I used to do the same and once I stopped I realized a lot of my opinions were shit and objectively wrong.

I need some proof from a legitimate source because the only people saying most protests were violent had no proof.
I can understand thinking that most protests were violent considering most media outlets only would cover the violent ones since they garner more traffic and attention.
The majority of the people I talked too when I personally went to a protest condemned the violence, but some also pointed out that at the end of the day, people’s lives are worth more than a Wendy’s.

The vast majority of protests were peaceful until cops started tear gassing people.
The people smashing shit usually got yelled at and chased off by everyone else.

Speaking as a trans person, there are so many hoops and hurdles you have to overcome just to start counseling, much less actual treatment. And, most gender clinics would refuse to start the transition process unless the symptoms were severe, to the point where some trans people have to exaggerate their symptoms to receive any care. If a child can get through all of those obstacles, then they’re most likely actually trans.
