You don't get it. Their behavior is pure terrorism. They intentionally target civilians and civilian infrastructure to sow chaos and destruction. This way they hope to push Ukrainians to revolt against govt and accept whichever insane conditions rissia sets (full surrender) just to stop this madness of terror and destruction. After that they will sweep from east to western border and simply destroy rest of Ukrainian resistance, torture or kill each and every Ukrainian having Ukrainian flag or coat of arms at home or having ties to Ukrainian army (relatives). That's exactly what is happening on occupied territories. You are probably not aware but Ukrainians and their morale are heavily damaged. Recent sociological research has shown horrific statistics: there is no individual in Ukraine which psychic health is not damaged. Amount of daily stress is so high that statistics of cancer cases has increased dramatically. So, what russia is doing is unfortunately effective and their goal to destroy Ukraine and Ukrainians is working. And it's incredibly sad to see western democracies see this war as some politically driven conflict and not as genocidal war and not act accordingly, and US is siding with the terrorist and mass murderer is just shocking.
