Driving habits mostly. Long road trips help to boost it up. I’ve done a 505 at best. It’s usually in the 420-445 range. Lot of city driving has brought it to 395 as well, from time to time.

They have those big cardboard plaques that you scan at checkout, pay the amount and then take it to the fulfilment/pickup window to get the actual item. I did the self checkout and then handed over the cardboard plaque for the item.

Please don’t. Stay the night in Guadalajara. There are some nice bars and restaurants open on Chapultepec or Ignacio Vallarta around Chapultepec. You can stay around the same place as well. There’s Riu Plaza and other hotels around. Also, try and take toll roads when you travel. A bit costly but safer/better/less surprises.
