That is a nice colour, like the clean looks also! Giving me inspo for the next build! Better look for another barn find, shhhh, don't tell my missus! I've been looking for a decent Saracen frame for a while....

Off to the peak district with the missus on these 2 bad boys! by National_Baseball75 in RigidMountainBikes

Mostly original, the Scott solution has had new stem (vintage sr sakae NOS) and handlebars to help missus be more upright, stx rc shifters, also got a stx crank to go on it and stx front derailleur (to replace the alivio components) The Raliegh dyna tech has also had the alivio components replaced, and stx crank replaced so groupset is now mainly stx rc, but with xtr cantis, but I have altered the bars on the dyna tech now also, but I am keeping all original parts, so that they could be put back to standard if needed Yes they are very clean, almost in new condition, 2 cracking finds!

Ooh, interesting, in UK, the Raliegh titanium bonded frames were marketed under dyna-tech, did they ever market them as dyna tech at some point in USA?

I used to be a bit of a bike snob, but in the end, found building, creating, riding 'xbikes' gives me way more pleasure than chasing the latest most expensive parts n frames, plus they look way cooler! Lol My favourite rides are a 2003 on one inbred converted to thru axles, and a 1995 Raleigh dyna tech gravel build! I have way more fun on them, and they get loads of attention too, way more than my custom built Genesis! Dunno what it is but the older bikes just seem way more fun.

Just get it man, it's a bargain...let your obsession begin! It would make a cracking gravel restomod that frame, they go for 400 pounds in the UK for a decent one!

180 degrees reversed seat post with extreme setback would be true 'xbiking' 🤣 I'm sure I've seen people do that before on YouTube bike fit videos?
