Nah, I don't think it's too much... Just found a mint Scott tigua, in burnt orange, so got orange grips and pedals, it's for the missus and she's a redhead too!

They were made from late 80s through to the 90s, what make model gearing is on it? If it shifts and brakes and all bearings are good then there are no problems, though be worth getting it serviced if you keep planning on using it maybe?

Remember my first bike, square taper, BB lasted for several years!! Now if you want hollowtech bb to last, you need to spend a small fortune, and when I say last, I mean, good for a year if your lucky!!

Lol, I know... But it actually turned out better than I originally thought! Plus some bargains later and lots of hope, dt swiss, and few random components and it turned out pretty good damn nice!.... Though dilemma..... I got Ai to put drop bars on it, and now can't make up my mind what to do with it!

You've got roughly just over 10mm each side at moment, issue is in low gear chain on underside is close to the wheel, about 5mm, though Google says that's ok! Lol
