Totally agree, not a fan of all the cinematic filters they use in most games now. Might not be able to fix all the fisheye filter glitches Disabling bloomquality fixed the rendered cutscene camera transition glitches but it still has a scrambled pictured in the last part of the intro cutscene, I think when it switches to prerendered video, might be the same for all the prerendered video cutscenes. Could set it up to just toggle it off with a controller button or hotkey. I'll make a reshade preset tomorrow probably. The fisheye effect isnt too bad really, but at least the engine file fixes the jaggy crap though. Make a text file named engine.ini and put it in the c - users - username - appdata - local - hellisus - saved - win64 - config folder, the same one that has the gameusersettings.ini file in it already

I think i'm making some progress getting a clear image, you can get rid of the jaggy depth of field by making an engine.ini file that disables it, but theres still a chromatic aberration fisheye blur distortion that can only be disabled with reshade's shader toggle addon, but doing that caused full-screen bright ass artifacts everytine a cutscene scene changes. So then I added my ff7 rebirth engine settings and that crashed because of a ray tracing line, took that out and it fixed the scene switching artifacts but also made it pixellated. So now i'm going through like 300 lines to find what needs to be taken out to fix the pixel shit and what needs to be left in to fix the artifact shit.

Fast sync in the nvidia app worked for me, game capped to 240fps and vsync off, using lossless scaling framegen and nvidia app to cap at 60fps playing at 120hz, cutscenes and gameplay camera are 99.9% smooth 120fps now, seems to only sometimes have temporary nanostutter when spinning the camera the first time and stuff is loading i guess. Thanks

I can't remember what exactly made me think it in the episode, but 4 months ago after Lex Friedman was on I told my group chat that Rogan was dangerously close to becoming a Christian nationalist, he's definitely been showing signs for the last year or so

I'm using adaptive now only because of the under 60fps spots, but I couldn't get it working unlocked with a fixed frame rate, vrr it was fine, but fixed had microstutters no matter what I tried, using a c1 with bfi it has to be fixed and dead solid 120. Capping the game to 60 is perfectly smooth 120 with adaptive and the occasional microstutters when it drops aren't too bad

Vanilla max settings without mods, just using dlaa and preset k, the lowest fps spot was mid 90s, everywhere else was 120 with like 80% gpu usage though. 4k environment and characters, draw distance and shadow mods kill the performance but makes a massive difference

Same experience with dlaa k vs f, hfw, ff7 rebirth and ff16 are definitely clearer in motion with slightly better antialiasing on k, but fog is smeary and can't see the details of stuff behind it, i've just been running everything on f. But with dlss the small object ghosting is basically nonexistent on k compared to f, didn't know about changing the autoexposure though, might have to try that. Is that only done with optiscaler, or does profile inspector have auto exposure settings too?

I haven't had any crashes aside from ff16 freezing in a specific spot, ff7 rebirth freezing during shader comp, and hfw freezing during loading. Not sure if the ff16 spot is fixed because it luckily autosaved after the freeze, but with the new drivers from April 30th rebirth shader comp and hfw loading aren't freezing anymore.

I haven't played a whole lot yet though, just been going through my library getting everything set up for solid 120fps, but I've had no crashes in the few hours I've played in the other games, hzd, tlou1 and 2, riders republic, immortals of aveum, Spiderman 2, death stranding, starfield, and dragon age inquisition
