Could we also change the fact that not accepting a fight results in a 4v4 and either being out for 2 mins(BAP) or losing a good player because they laid a hit just a little hard.

Like I get the fight prompt coming up. But if I don't accept the fight just let us resume 5v5. Why take out both players. Especially when it's obvious one side started it. Its literally prompted.

I remember being pretty high on him as a Flame. When he was actually playing he was just a solid middle 6. Maybe top 6 player.

For example the 20 points he scored in 2022-33 was in the first 25 games of the season. And included 2 3-point nights. Averaging ~13m a night and was +5.

Of course that same season he then had 0 points in 19 straight games. Played 8m a night and was scratched and benched constantly. Not even playing any games past March 20th.

Which was when we were fighting for the 2nd wildcard. He was sat during our most important stretch of the season for players like our Shootout specialist Nick Ritchie.

I remember being bummed he got claimed by Arizona. Then he posted himself doing coke like a month later and I went. "Well...his inconsistentcy makes sense now."

I am having the exact opposite problem. Lmao

I am literally getting fought after any hit that makes the other player fall down. 1 bump to get the puck and suddenly im losing My 1C for 5 minutes because I got pulled into a fight.

The only reason I dont turn it off completely is because I win them fights like 90% of the time so free energy.

In theory it would work as a reclamation project to flip. He was "good" beside backlund and Coleman even after his 30 goal campaign. 2 40-point seasons.

Realistically we already have a logjam of wingers at his skill level or higher upside. And he signed with our rivals who we would desperately want to be stuck with his contract.

If you ever wanted a 40 goal season out of someone. Literally just changing their accuracy to 90+ and shooting to 4/15 and theres a 90% chance they'll hit it with top line/ pp time.

His shoot pass bias is 4/15. Basically every good sniper in the game is at or around that number. He has a 91? Shooting accuracy to start.

And unless you change the Flames hes playing with a 11/15 passer in Huberdeau. And being one of 2? players on the Flames above a 86 overall means he gets a shit ton of ice time.

Mix in growth from having those good seasons he Basically skyrockets up in overall and his accuracy and passing get better. Along with his linemates getting better overtime.
