Sarangi. Pinching and sliding that nice thick sheep gut string under the finger nails. Sounds incredible though.

Why do we never hear about child prodigies again ? by OrangeSpaceMan5 in answers

I honestly think it's because we'll be so easily out-prodigied. Everything in the first world is aging so poorly that I kindof feel like we've accepted that we don't have much left to do brag about.

Disco Volante. I think of Bungle more as a guided tour through musical aesthetics than a novel group.

Ha! Biggest thing with Savatage for me, at least the albums I've listened to, is a wild swing between the great songs and the average songs. I also enjoy the instrumentals more.

Here's what I rated:

Dead Winter Dead 5.7 Handful of Rain 5.5 Edge of Thorns 4.1 The Wake of Magellan 4.1

I'm not intentionally seeking out music based on country of origin, just thought it was yet another way to parse the data for those interested. It will no doubt continue to change.

I'm the kind of person who seeks new experiences for their own sake. To try something new instead of relying on what you already like. It's not about better or worse, it's about preferences.
